Strider...2014 Strider

Recently been playing the new Strider game. I gotta admit Double Helix has done a great job with the classic capcom franchise. If you are a fan of metroidvania style games, worth picking up. Love the boss battles.


Anybody played it?

I saw this on steam's promotional **** but I didn't look into it.

How's the game play? genre, rating etc?

Gameplay is fun. Its just like playing any metroidvania type game. Has that Strider universe feel of the arcade but the metroidvania style gameplay. You choose your own path, find secrets, fun boss battles. Camera can be hit or miss cause certain areas it zooms too close or too far. But you can deal with it. I really like it a lot. One of the better Capcom games to come out lately.

i am sold far too easily on these things.

It's only 15 bucks. whatever, yolo, I'm sure I'll enjoy it. =P

Never played any of the original games but I used to play Strider when I played MvC3 so~

There's a demo for it on the PS3 if you wanted to try it (and have a ps3). I haven't seen if steam has a demo though.
