Smash Ace
Hi, I do more testing than anything but I am a great player. This topic is about pits arrows.
First time you play you only knew about straight and curve arrows. Right? Your opponents actually get used to that and simply dodge and proceed. If timed correctly you get free hits on rolls and get ups. I mainly used straight arrows for only those purposes. Others can be for quick recovery hits off stage.
When arrow looping started, It seemed cool and nice but many don't take it seriously maybe because of bad aim.
Pit has a lot of push back moves that give him some time to loops arrows. To my studies, when you are arrow looping you are you seem concentrated on the loop and it doesn't feel safe. But you are free to do anything after the shooting frame. Knowledged opponents on arrow looping
are actually slower on approach because of caution. Plus given the training, you will score more hits looping than shooting a volley of straight ones.
If you want to combo are higher percents, learn to loop appropriately (thus the basics of advance technics).
Your game-play is actually improved with the help of arrow looping. I fell some ranks when I heard maybe I should study the basics, and I only used straight and curved arrows. It only helped my opponent come towards me quicker. Don't be predictable.
This topic was for those that think only shooting straight arrows is really better than looping.
