Stopping Xbox Live automatic renewal

So I made a new account recently, and realized something. My irst account is set to automatic renewal. Meaning there is no way for me to stop it from paying off my debit card to renew itself. I do not want this. I want that account to go back to silver. Is there any way to STOP IT FROM PAYING FOR ITSELF? xbox.com does not help me, and the phone service frustrated me to all hell.

In your account management settings there is an option to disable automatic renewal.

where? i spent like an hour searching both my xbox.com account options and the options on the box itself.

also when did you become not a mod o_O ?

I pay by credit card and it automatically takes payment every month...The only way to cancel it is by ringing this number: 0800 587 1102


Press 1 - Xbox 360 support menu

Then press 1 - For Xbox Live including billing enquires menu

Then press 2 - For the cancel or enquire about your account menu

Finally press 1 - To speak to someone about cancelling your Xbox Live subscription
