you know how ****ing disgusting it is to see people ***** and complain and say **** about hbox and melee and jiggs all the while doing nothing themselves to get better, to find ways around moves/play-styles they call gay?

Truthfully, he is a fantastic player. If you beat the best of the best, that's just a testament of it. It's just that people despise his style of Jigglypuff and how effective it is. Hell, I'm surprised as **** that for over 7 long years that people have overlooked just how OP the character is. It's staggering what Jigglypuff can do. And it's just a frustrating aspect to face. Get better and beat him? Some of these guys are at their PRIME, the elites of the world, and people like HBox picks Jiggs and plays a "gay" style and winds up pulling out clean sweeps, 2-3 stock matches and the like.

You can't tell me you were actually EXCITED and HYPED about that display, were you? mad props for playing to win, and when you play with that mindset you aren't entertaining, but it's just a drag to watch.

Do you think Hbox was always that good? Do you think that he just randomly picked up the OP character and started ****** with no effort?

Hbox clawed his way up just like all the other melee pros. He started playing around 06 and got wrecked at every tournament he went to. But he never stopped going to tournaments and he never stopped training with WATO (most of which are pretty ****ing good) and just kept getting better and better.

You know, I PERSONALLY knocked Hungrybox out of tournaments repeatedly while he was starting out and for pretty much the next year to come. We ended up fighting each other at every gigs and I beat him every time. You know how upset I was when he finally took me out? I took it as a fluke and convinced myself that next time I'd just beat him like always. But time and time again I fought him in tourney and the sets just became less and less close, until I couldn't even take a match off of him.

The same thing happened to a lot of other players. Some players even got better in retaliation, and learned Hbox's "style" inside out and STILL lose to him. Hell, some people even BEAT him and his "gay" style (Colbol and him go even, Uuaa does pretty ****ing well against him). If people are gonna let Hbox bair camp, then he's gonna bair camp. And if they actually learn the matchup and get past that, he'll beat them anyway because HE KNOWS MORE THAN BAIR CAMPING, despite what people seem to think. He's got an entire bag of tricks that he's almost never forced to use, because people just can't figure out what to do about bair.


Grand Finals of Apex was mad boring to watch. But that doesn't make Hbox's win any less legit.

It really isn't your business if they hate him or not. And this notion that you're not allowed to hate someone just because they are better than you is ********.

Now here's mine, it doesn't disgust you to see people *****ing and moaning, saying melee is dead, saying hbox/jiggs killed the game for them, knowing full well that them as players are bad, and don't know what the **** they are talking about. Have no idea what it takes to win with jiggs, or beat her, just pulling **** out of their ***** to try and get people to agree with them. Sad sad individuals who only say **** like that to seek acceptance from other smash players.

Thanks for the advice broski, I can tell you're a very selfless human being, looking out for me and giving me advice on how to avoid cardiac arrest in the future.

In fact, your posting has made me feel a lot better, knowing that you actually believe that played out internet meme's, trolling, and all around being a greasy nerd has any negative impact on my mood.

You should know better that Melee ain't going ANYWHERE. Champions are champions and people like rooting for underdogs and going against the reigning players. It's just common fact that exists in any competitive game.

What, are you actually WORRIED that Melee is dying because of one guy who plays a frustrating style to clash with?
