STASH issues

So I've been texture hacking for a while, but I'm having trouble with +1s and +2s in STASH. Specifically, the Starfox emblem and logo. I can't get either of them to be anything different. I've indexed the new image to a few as 10 colors, and I continue to get warnings about how "The texture may contain erroneous colors"

Does anyone have a better version of STASH or any remedy to this?

Lemme share with you a little secret:

I ****ing hate erroneous colors.

Honestly, thats all I know.

It makes no sense to me. I indexed it to two colors: Black. And White. Those were the only two I need. And it died. I need to learn Hex.
