See the other thread of this ilk.

And do some research on your own. Soap has made many an informative thread and there are various other threads to help on matchup and general knowledge.

The first step to picking up any character is initiative.

I wonder what is it about Peach players wanting to pick up Sheik as a secondary.

Not hating. I just think its interesing phenomenon.

Then again, I'm a Marth main who seconds Fox. Very common paring.

=)

Anyway, as for your question, read sheik guides, watch sheik videos, and simply practice your SHFLS and other tech skills first.

Shorthop needle fakeouts are good to learn... also, getting to know Sheik's edgeguarding game, as it's pretty different from most character's. Ummm... finding a way to replace the standard dashdance is also nice.

Hey, I'm a Peach/Shiek main too :chuckle:

My Sheik basically consists of dash attacks, dthrows/chain grabs, needles, lots of dsmashes, and aerials(especially fairs). This works fine for me, but I have trouble with high level foxes..... But for fox, I just use Peach:)
