Starting Characters

Do you think the characters that get announced on the official website are only the starters? I hope so because I still wanna be surprised with the unlockables

I think there is already a thread for this. But I think Snake, Sonic, and possibly D3 are unlockables.

I think any 3rd party fighters will be unlockable, but any others on the dojo will be starters

I heard from someone that the demo fighters are the starters, but fighters like kirby and zelda are unlocked within a minute of the SSE

I doubt the demo's roster are the starting characters.

It's really confusing at this point who's starter and who's not. I'd bet that the third party characters (Sonic and Snake, so far.) are unlockable.

If you ask me there will be 20 or so starters and 50 or so total

I actually think most of the newcomers are unlockables
pit, pkmn trainer, diddy, DeDeDe, Snake, Sonic all seem like they would be unlockables
but sakurai did hint that unlocking characters would be easier this time around

Not all of the ones confirmed on the DOJO will be starters.

And that someone was wrong, seeing as how there have been multiple demos with differing rosters.
