Stanley for SSBB

alot of people have been throwing out suggestions of possible characters and i came across Stanley. for those who dont know he is the cousin of Mario and Luigi and apperaed in donkey kong 3 where you had to exterminate some bugs to get to donkey kong.he is also a trophy in melee. now he would be a different character seeing as he had a spray gun for a weapon unlike the many sword users. plus he's a more retro character like mr game and watch and ice climbers. and nintendo will be adding a few more. he's probably not that well known but i think he could finally make a re debut in brawl. same as Pit. maybe this could be the push for a new game of his. he's kinda random but i just thought about it today.

Yeah, but your specialty seems to be drawing Pac-man eating everyone's dream characters.

Seriousely, this is a fantastic idea. It would add both a Donkey Kong and a Mario character (Would he have a Barrel or a mushroom as his watermark? I don't know) All of his A-moves would be various spray attacks. You could map other "Gardening" skills to his B moves, since the main conceit is that he is protecting his greenhouse from DK and evil bees and caterpillars.

How about:

Neutral B: Garden Hose - A Jet spray of water pushes character backwards, but with low damage.
Smash B: Tool Toss - Throws a Random gardening impliment at enemy that may be pick-up-able after their initial use. possibilities are: Rake, Hoe, shovel, spade (Can be picked up again and used as melee weapons) Bag of Seed, (Causes weak Turnips to grow on the spot where the seeds land) and the Buzzbee (A common enemy of Stanleys, turned homing projectile attack).
Down B: Flower plant - Stanley plants a flower on the Spot. The flower will heal Stanley ever 5 seconds for 5-15%. Flower can be destroyed in one hit by anything.
Up B: Gas cloud - Stanly surrounds himself with bugspray and floats upwards slowly.

Hows that for B moves. All it takes is a little imagination.

b - starts throwing random garden tools at random trajectories like G&W sausages
b> - powerful blast from his sprayer
B^ - Sprays underneath him three times, sending him up
Bv - the thing that was mentioned earlier with the flower

well seeing as we talked about this ages ago and we didn't know next to nothing about the game I think im going to say instead of him being playable he might be an AT. I would like him to be playable but his chances are rather slim. Sakurai should throw another retro character into the mix besides Pit.

I think so, too. I can't really see him with a good moveset, but with Assist Trophies, they just attack once, right?
