well I'm on the downhill of these teams now. Envy, Wrath, Glutton, and Pride are done. I finally downloaded Shoddy and got my computer working so the first four are working fine. I skipped over Glutton, but I really want Greed rated. I've come to realize while Envy and Wrath were easy to work with symbol wise, Glutton, Pride, and Greed have been annoying. The next two don't look easier either. That being said some of the names lack a meaning of Greed, but I'm just happy I have the demon icon symbol for each sin as well as a functioning team that overall can fit the theme. (Glutton was the biggest stretch ever...) Without further ado, I present...

Greed “A desire to acquire or possess more than one needs”

I started off wanting this to be a team composed of Pokemon that benefited from Sandstorm. This was way back when before I knew anything. That meant having 6 rock pokemon; a bad idea to say the least. Until recently I had a lot of weaknesses to ground, but I've revamped this theme, for I've wanted a sandstorm team forever now. None of the pokemon get hurt by sandstorm, two pokemon give sandstorm, and two benefit from it. If I could ever make this team work in ubers I'd defiantly through a Garchomp in there, but this is for standard. I've had a serious problem finding a lead, and I'm happy with this one thanks to help from here. It's my favorite pokemon evar....

Tyranitar/Fafnir
Sandstream/Jolly
Focus Sash
16 HP/252 Atk/208 Spd/32 SDef
Stealth Rock
Crunch
Earthquake
Sleep Talk

This guy is fast and strong. He brings in the most important thing of sandstorm teams, the sandstorm. Weak to 6 things, they are all covered or at least able to be taken. (None of my pokemon resist water) I had a special attacking choice scarf Tar, but it didn't work, so I went with this lead one. Not much more I can say.

Swampert/Hotei
Torrent/Careful
Leftovers
252HP/6Att/252Spec. Defense
Curse
Earthquake
Rest
Roar

Changed to be a Curepert. Can setup early on or late on depending, usually works better later though. Can wall teams really well... I was suprised how well this guy can work...it's quite amazing XD.

Heatran/Anansi
Flash Fire/Rash/Naive/Timid*1
Choice Scarf
6HP/252Special Attack/252Speed
Dragon Pulse
Explosion
Earth Power
Flamethrower

There is a lot to be said here. As I put this team together it is very obvious that Heatran is a counter-revengekiller to many of my weaknesses. I put a lot of stress on him being alive, but I haven't had a problem of him dying to early. A lack of electric moves mean between Tyranitar's plans + Heatran's HPgrass are my only methods of fighting bulky waters. Dragon Pulse is for dragon coverage and the last two moves are it's usual moves.
*1 Nature is uncertain because I either need to SR this several times for HPgrass, cheat and get one of those, or get help online...
*2 This is a big problem. I'm usually relaxed on these kind of issues, but I need HPGrass. It shows very badly, so I'm going to have to find help getting one made to fit my needs or spend forever SRing. I'm probably going with the first option >.>. (If anyone wants to help me...)
Anyways, he brings fight/ground weaknesses in, and swampert can take those, but I needed a pokemon to cover them. I also wanted a sweeper. I ended up using this, yet again...

Scizor/Aeron
Technician/Adamant
Choice Band
248HP/252Attack/8Speed
Bullet Punch
U-turn
Superpower
Pursuit

Not much to say here, except god I hate how good he is. He fits sandstorm.. and even better, he is another good revenge killer with great resistances. Not much I'll say, except he counters my weaknesses, only bringing fire in. Heatran can absorb fire, so they work well together. All of my weaknesses are covered, and the typing seemed great so far.

Gliscor/Mammon
Sand Veil/Jolly
Leftovers
252HP/6Def/252speed
Earthquake
Roost
Toxic
Taunt

I use this Gliscor as a physical wall. Can wall many of my problems and was suggest by Ultmario, and after using it I realized this worked out much better XD. Sand Veil is soooo nice to me sometimes... <.< My final pokemon was also a suggestion, replacing Asura, but still named Asura, but ... lost a lot of weight... hmmm

Celebi/Asura
Natural Cure/Bold
Leftovers
252HP/220Defense/36Speed
Leech Seed
Recover
Grass Knot
Thunder Wave

Overall I think this team works, but I'm probably not noticing things. I don't really know what else I could do, but there's always room for improvement.

Theme wise this is getting really tedious. Envy and Wrath are fun to make, the last three are a pain. The names stretch to fit the meaning-- I'm merely happy each team has the icon sin name. Mammon is Greeds if you didn't know, XD

Anyways, advice is much appreciated!

Instead of rating this, I'll state the three largest flaws that need to be fixed:

1. Use a Sand Streamer as a lead. That means TTar is best in this case. I recommend this one:
Tyranitar@Focus Sash
Jolly/Sand Stream
16 HP/252 Atk/208 Spd/32 SDef
Stealth Rock
Crunch
Earthquake
Sleep Talk
Fix up your Swampert for the non-lead position as necessary.

2. Hippo and Gliscor should never be on the same team. Instead of having hippo, have A standard Wall Celebi or something, its Synergy will be well-appreciated. As shocking as it may seem, you don't have to have ALL your Pokemon immune to SS.

3. Speaking of Gliscor, regardless of whats going on, there will always be problematic Pokemon for your team. I've found that Wallbreaker Gliscor fixes most those problems, being able to Toxic and hit just about anything with EQ that is immune, so....
Gliscor@Leftovers
Jolly/Sand Veil
EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 Spd
Earthquake
Taunt
Toxic
Roost

Other than that I'm not going to bother with any rating beyond that at this point. These issues need to be adressed before anything else.

I can change Tyranitar and Gliscor as you said, what Swampert do you think would work best with that? Also for Celebi I got..
Celebi @ Leftovers
Bold
252HP/220Defense/36Speed
Leech Seed
Recover
Grass knot
Thunder wave

Hard to do hidden powers for wifi =/

If you do use this set, go with Explosion over HP Grass on Heatran. I figure you would have anyway, but I thought I'd still point it out. It would solve a lot of soft-resetting issues. As for the set, I guess that would be good enough. The team doesn't have anything blazingly fast anyway (especially after changing ScarfTar to a lead), so the paralysis support will obviously be well-appreciated. Celebi just has too many **** sets. It's hard to decide what to run sometimes. :(

Put HP Fire On Celebi over Leech Seed.
Being able to fight off Scizor is much moe valuable than health sapping.

I just wanted pictures without white boxes... =( and those look so cool XD. As for HPfire, with wifi that will be a problem... unless we got a Celebi in HG/SS I've yet to decide how I'm going to get one in the first place <_<. Though I think we're getting one in HG/SS. I like that Celebi for the lack of speed since all I have speed wise is Priority, but I'm unsure how Swampert does. Is CB considered good or is the Cursepert work really well? <.<

I hadn't read in-depth enough on this. I JUST noticed that this was in-game.

Ignore everything I say, then, In-game and Shoddy have completely different Metagames, and have very different possibilities of what is obtainable. My advice is only going to help you on Shoddy.

So I shouldn't change anything at all now? x_x I don't know, the whole Ttar lead, Stall Gliscor, and Celebi made sense to me... ugh <_<

Well, I made Ttar the lead, a Cursepert, a Stall Gliscor, Revenge-Heatran with explosion, CB Scizor, the Celebi I mentioned, and that's it. Not sure how Cursepert will do but I liked it more than CB

Personally, I would think that a better set for T-tar as a lead would be:

Tyranitar@Chesto Berry
Adamant/ Sand Stream
252 HP/ 32 Atk/ 224 SDef
-Stone Edge
-Payback
-Rest/EQ
-Stealth Rock

With this lead, you supposedly only lose to Metagross, Jirachi, Infernape, Swampert, Mamoswine, and Bronzong, while beating stuff like Smeargle, Roserade, Azelf, etc, though with UltiMario's, you lose to those same ones + more, and I don't know what it intends on beating.

Eh, test both out and see how it goes.

Hey, I'm just saying it would be better over the current lead one, since it's not like Tyranitar in general doesn't lose to those pokes.

It'd be nice if you updated the OP w/ the changes.

Also SV if you read the thread you would've noticed that I already gave him the GOOD TTar lead not the ****ty one thats on Smogon.

But why is the one on Smogon ****ty as you would put it? Contrary to your belief, I DID read the thread, but what I'm wondering is what does your set do better than Smogon's? You still lose to the common leads Jirachi, Metagross, etc, and I don't see what else you win against over the Smogon set. I'm asuming you mean the T-tar set that YOU made, which doesn't explain why it's better than Smogon's.

Because its faster than lots of the things that threaten it, unlike Smogon's. It also outspeeds Rotoms that try to make TTar useless with Wisp, it also has Sleep Talk, and EQ, Crunch KO most sleep leads while SR lets you.... well, get SR! It can take decent hits from most leads, and if the opponent makes even a small mistake you can change your position from losing to a lead to beating it, for example, Metagross leads that don't carry Meteor Mash will be beaten, since an EQ + BP can't KO TTar, and they're outsped so they can't EQ twice. Sash and ST almost garuntees that you will get SR out, and do damage to an extent.

But honestly, if you simply USE my TTar lead, you'll notice its waaaaaaaaaay better than Smogon's.

Not even close.

TTar is arguably one of THE worst leads out there right now what with all the bulky pokemon who can 1-2HKO it before it can do the same to them.

Of the top 10 leads, Swampert, Infernape, Metagross, Aerodactyl and Heatran can beat it. Roserade too if you mispredict and Sleep Talk when it Leaf Storms you in the face. That's half the top 10 leads that TTar loses to just for being TTar.

For at least MY TTar.....

If Metagross carries EQ over MM, then this thing wins because EQ + BP does not KO it last time I checked, it also survives two Heatran Earth powers and can KO back, and it at least will always get rocks out against Swampert. Infernape it definately loses to.... You can at least take down Aero, althought you might not get rocks out.... And Roserade is a risk, if you predict it right, you beat it. Wrong? You lose to it.

Similarly, Sleep Talk Tyranitar can potentially **** Roserade really freaking hard by predicting a Sleep Powder. For simplicity's sake, I'd say you have a 50% chance of beating Aerodactyl and Roserade.
