Description:

This is an idea for a returning stage from Melee. Basically the stage would replace "The Pirate Ship" stage in Brawl. Giving it music isn't necessary because Brawl already has "Termina Field" as a song but it will feel more classic. A few changes could be added. The water in the stage can now be the water in Brawl where everybody can swim in it.

If I'm not mistaken, this stage already exists on Brawl Vault. It's just a matter of finding and implementing it into your game.

Basically this is a stage that is going on during the fight with Chaos. I don't know what stage could get replaced. The stage would have Chaos in the background moving(model from Sonic Generation). As fro the platforms you would have platforms that look like broken roads and maybe have some water below.

The stage would have grass like grounds and metallic platforms. In the background you would have Eggman's factory , the planet itself and Wisps flying around.

your asking for a bit much dude, try to go to one of the request threads on brawlvault and see if anybody has already done it or if anybody would be willing to do it (i doubt it though) termina bay is there though, you should look at all the worlds though just to make sure you like something else

And you could always learn yourself, and make the stages yourself

Well it's not much. I mean just look at the Skyloft stage the background is not made from scratch and was taken from Skyward Sword. Same thing could be done for Brawl stages from Sonic generation. Plus it would be more easy because the camera wouldn't move but just Chaos in the background. As for the Great Bay I'm waiting for a release that has real water in it.

The PMBR has other more important things to focus on besides stages, though. And even then, these stages you're requesting look like they'd be better suited to Brawl's environment, as compared to Project M's more competitive-friendly layouts.

If you don't have the know-how to create or rip models and textures, the best thing you can do is make a request on the most popular website for custom Brawl content and hope that somebody is willing to lend you some help.

As for Great Bay, here are some that you can choose from to hold you off until M22K makes a newer and better looking one.

a recent made stage with Sonic generation's model and design of that boss fight.
I don't think anyone's been able to tap into a Sonic Gen ISO enough to rip stage models from it just yet, so I don't know how possible this would be. Your best options are to either wait or learn to model hack.

I've personally made a stage using background geometry from Sonic Generations' Sky Sanctuary Zone, so it is entirely possible to extract models from the game. However, I have had issues where the stage looked fine in BrawlBox but had messed up textures in-game, which may or may not be related to using models ripped straight from a game with no modification.

If the OP is interested in learning how to extract models from SG, I would recommend he look up the Generations Archive Editor, QuickBMS, and SonicGLvl. I also used Autodesk Maya to regroup geometry and export it as a .dae so it would work properly with BrawlBox.

From whichever download you choose from the link provided, copy the PAC file for the stage into the private\wii\app\RSBE\pf\stage\melee folder on your SD card and rename it to the stage you want to replace with it. For example, the first download in the link provided contains a folder called Melee, in which you'll find STGPIRATES.pac. Copying this to the melee folder on your SD card will replace the Wind Waker pirate ship stage with the Great Bay remake.

BrawlBox is software used to read and edit the various types of files used in Brawl (.pac, .pcs, .brstm, etc.).

In the future, you might find information about Smash Bros. hacking faster if you use Google to search for pre-existing tutorials and forum threads on whatever subject you want to know more about.

Nah I'll play safe. I tried some stages and Project M's are the best. Brawl Vault's have poor quality and glitch up.

While Brawl Vault can be a pain to navigate and find the quality, there is some pretty high quality stuff to be found there. From character textures, to voice packs, to stages. There are a number of borderline unplayable (Competitively at least) stages still in Project M that are left alone for casual play like Big Blue and Rainbow Cruise. When I go to swap stages with some of the good stuff from Brawl Vault, I concentrate on these stages to add more competitive-friendly stages. Just cause a few you found glitch up, doesn't mean that they all will. It's also possible that you didn't have the right files in order to overwrite the previous stages, or you just didn't do it right. Adding in anything is a trial and error process, but the more you do it, the better you'll understand it.

For me if Brawl was intended in a way. I'll play it that way. So I'm not playing as 50% changed characters. stages are Okay but i had some problems wile play in Great Bay.

Problems like what? And remember that even though Project M is technically a Brawl hack, it's not Brawl.

Well a CPU Lucas got stuck on the same spot for 5 minutes. I had troubles kicking him out of their. Project M is different it's elegant and well done. It's not abused like Brawl - or Brawl +. Plus i hate a lot of Brawl's stages and project m gave us some that look professionally made and the new stages were not ridiculous.

Is that a stage problem or a problem with fighting a CPU? It sounds like one problem with one stage is making you adverse to it. And about the 50% changed characters thing, I have no idea what you were referring to in relation to Project M.

So far, the only problems that I've had with custom stages involved falling through the stage when platforms were added in areas that didn't previously have them.

It was a stage problem. What I meant about the 50% thing is that most brawl vault characters are completely modified characters too look like lets say shadow the hedgehog. For me hacking stages is only done if a stage looks good enough for Brawl. I will only modify music for Project M and that is as far as it goes.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of completely changing characters or having custom move sets either. The best things I've found on Brawl Vault are textures that give nods to a character's games. Like Lord and Vanguard Ike, or Awakening Marth. While it can be a pain to search through piles of crappy anime characters and mountains of square-enix trash, there is gold to be found there if you're willing to look for it.

As far as stages, what I've found that fits best with Project M include a Frigate Orpheon that doesn't transform, Mushroom Kingdom PM which I put over Mario Raceway, PM Summit which is much better than the standard Summit stage, Jungle Hijinx over Jungle Japes, and an alternate Battlefield over Shadow Moses Island, since walk off stages aren't very good for fighting. Put some time into finding what you want, and I guarantee you'll get some good stuff.

You just have to sift through all the dumb crap to find good stuff, and believe me there are plenty of quality character textures and stages. And there's always the option of making your own stuff.

That's just usually a problem with AI in some custom made stages, they just don't know where to go or what to do so they usually just walk back and forth in a certain area until you hit them out of there.
Also if you want a well done stage, you should check out Bowser's Castle over Mario Circuit, it's a pretty neat stage.
One last thing, try to refrain from double posting, just edit your first post.

Replace whichever color you want on Marth.
FitMarth00.pac or .pcs = Original color/Blue team color
FitMarth01 = Red
FitMarth02 = Green
FitMarth03 = Purple
FitMarth04 = Black
FitMarth05 = White

That is indeed just a texture file. The directory where that file goes on your SD card is

SD:/private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/fighter/marth/

No offense but this topic got derailed really fast. If you want to talk about stages, that's fine here. If you wanna talk about how to use textures or where to put them, look up some tutorials or go to the Help section.
