Stage Brainstorming

Here's how this works. Every game has a level or part that's iconic of the whole game. For example the Whispy Woods fight in the Kirby series or the Dialga/Palkia fight in Diamond and Pearl. These parts usually get made into stages in Smash Bros so I was thinking, what other iconic moments are there with stage potential.

I'll list some games that haven't had stages and you state what levels stick in your mind.

A Link to the Past
Link's Awakening
Ocarina of Time (can't believe this one got missed)
Pokemon Gen 2, 3 & 5

Super Metroid - Tourian: The Mother Brain fight is one of the single most memorable moments in any game I've ever played. It doesn't necessarily need Mother Brain to be there, it could do with just the cannons, the cyber-cheerios rings, and probably lava too, just to sate Sakurai's love for lava and acid in Metroid stages.

Pokémon Black & White - Giant Chasm: This is a cool idea I've seen around. Have Kyurem in the background function as an obstacles much like Palkia and Dialga, combined with a very rocky terrain and it'd make for some crazy battles.

If they go for Tourian, Mother Brain should be in imho.
Then we have the Melee stage with Kraid to combo with it.
And playable Ridley in Norfair obviously.
Perfect Metroid rep.

Stack Up! (the game with the scientist you played with R.O.B., so he can have a stage of his own),
Pandora's Labyrinth Of Deceit from Kid Icarus Uprising,
the stage during sunset with the silhouettes from Donkey Kong Country Returns,
a stage from Sin & Punishment 2,
Stage 1 from Pac-Man, retro style,
Mountain 1 from original Ice Climbers, retro style, similar to the one in Melee for the mechanics,
Palutena's Temple (upgraded version of Underworld),
a random galaxy from Mario (maybe the toy one?),
the Ring from Punch-Out! (could work like that Dedede boss fight),
a stage from Kirby's Epic Yarn, just for the style,
Cerulean Cave (the one where you capture Mewtwo),
Maridia from Super Metroid,
the stage with the goats and the ridiculous music in Tekken Tag Tournament 2,
a Paper Mario stage (really need this),

For the Sonic series Sonic Generations was made up of fan favorite stages so any one of those could be good

Sky Sanctuary from Sonic 3 & Knuckles
Speed Highway from Sonic Adventure
City Escape from SA 2 (Fighting on top of the truck anyone?)
Seaside Hill from Sonic Heroes
Crisis City from *SLAP* NO!
Spagonia from Sonic Unleashed
Planet Wisp from Sonic Colours.

Personally I think it'd be a Sonic Colours themed stage.
