SSE Music Hacking

Simple question with a probably complex answer: Is there any way to edit the music that are built into cutscenes, since they're not directed to the SD card? Or would that require ISO hacking?

That would probably either require the ability to edit sound effects (some songs in cutscenes are just low whirrs, or a humming noise). I have gotten custom music into cutscenes by replacing music in-game. For example, Dark Samus Appears replaces Battlefield, and that plays now during the Link kills false Peach cutscene (not sure of the actual name). You can also replace SSE boss themes, which also play during the cutscene prior, mostly

I've gotten that much on my own, but for instance: in "The Great Invasion" cutscene, the main theme always comes on regardless if I switched the song or not. The Credits at the end of the game can't seem to be changed either.

It also doesn't work in the opening cutscene before the press start menu

Yeah, not as important lol if Kryal or Dantarion can come up with a way to edit SFX, than perhaps you can edit those songs in cutscenes. I'd suggest asking in the BrawlBox thread to let Kryal know
