Do you think we should have an advanced option so that we can use the old announcer and the old character intros (which the characters are floating in a platform in the start) also the "Ready...Go!" Instead of the countdown 3..2..1. But anyway what do you guys think?

Nah. It's a different game, and the intros/announcer are small details that you eventually just get used to anyway.

I'm more concerned about how horrible the announcer himself is.

Sure, more options are better, but this just seems like a silly thing to want to return. There's nothing wrong with the announcer / intros, so why waste space on new ones?

What?! What a waste of an option, no.

I hate the new a... well, I don't hate him, but I don't like him compared to the past announcers. He isn't epic enough and tries too hard, but an option to change the start of a match to "Ready Go" and the old announcer... that's just a waste of time and effort.

FYI, they're not just floating on platforms. They actually start off as trophies and come to life for the match.

Are you kidding? This announcer is totally awesome!
Plus, the countdown is much better than "Ready?". This game seriously looks awesome!

And yeah, character intros, we know :p

"Ready, GO!" is much quicker. Plus, some characters don't go well with specific intros. If Mario pops out of a pipe, all the other Mario fighters do the same thing, which is rather stupid since Bowser and pipes don't mix.

Fail.

SO!

In your mind because Bowser is from the Mario "clan" (As in Icon and Victory music) you think he comes from a pipe?

lol wut?

If Anything, he'll come flying by in his clown....thing.. and jump out.

The new announcer is the same guy that says "Heaven or Hell, Dual 1, Lets Rock!" in guilty gear. HAHA at least thats what he sounds like to me.

No, Bowser comes out of flames. It was low quality and hard to see, but it was in one of the GamePro videos. Making up fake facts to make a point is just stupid.
