Because that involves using Riivolution. Its much much easier to use a 2GB SD card. It should be plenty of space for whatever you want to use it for.

I personally use Riivolution with an 8GB flash drive (Riivo supports higher capacity and USB), but only go there if you are willing to take the time to learn a more complex process.

Question: When i put my sd in a cpu, the first folder i see says PSP, does that mean its SD Card for the psp?

It's just the folder that a PSP would use if you were using it for one. Just delete or ignore it.
