Hello to everyone.
since me and my bro's used to be active users on this forum, i'm happy ever after after seeing that there are still so many proud SuperSmashers!

since my Nintendo64 crashed after a weird experience with my right foot, i've chosen to continue playing, but now using the Project64 emulator for my PC!
i bought a PC compatible Nin64 look-a-like controller.
now the issue here is the little lag you got sometime's , anyone got some solutions?

besides for that, me and [WIKI="Coen"]
@coen
[/WIKI] are still so impressed and involved with the game, that we have decided to make a Video Montage one day soon! were we will get the SSB train going again, it's been way to long!

here's a quick sneak-peek to what is to be expected:

that's right, FIREWORK IS EXPECTED

Beware the "PC-compatible look-alike" controller. It might be a rip-off. Adapters (like this one) are more reliable.

But YEAH! GO 64! Hope to see you guys kicking *** over there in Europe someday soon.

being dutch, you should try out playing online with the european community, you can see how to get in touch with it through the europe smash index.

wow thanks for the tip! well my controller is in case a PC moderated N64 controller (
)
but i'm now seriously thinking about buying an adapt and controller, thanks for the good advice.

btw the reason i'm playing an EMU is not because of the lack of money to buy a N64, but just because it makes the Filming so much easier and the quality a bit better.

feels good to know that i am not alone is this cruel smash hating world :)

a realtime friend of mine [WIKI="Coen"][/WIKI] is an old active member of the dutch smashing scene, so he know how to get in touch with 'em.

im hoping to set up a tournament with the time, just like in the old days you know?
but we'll see how it works out

hmm oh well, found a store that sells the controller for 10euro's a piece, so buying an adapt for 15 wont be the problem :)

Plus, I feel like the way that controller is designed wouldn't be conducive to smashing well. The way the buttons are placed on a genuine controller (in a line and all next to each other) is much easier for quick access and button-sliding to perform stuff faster.

It would be tough to deal with a thing looking like that.

May I ask who your friend is? And you said "involved in the smash scene", does that mean melee or 64? Because I don't think there is a lot of offline 64 scenes (in Eu at least).

Gamename Coen, you can find him using the smash wiki, wikicodec's are not working with me now, he used to play 64 but switched to melee.
guessing your right about the offline 64 tourneys not being up to date anymore, but there are still some very active players.

Hmmm you should bring them all online (you included). We need more players. But don't join the group to talk about melee all day (like it's the case now).

Ok, nice. I'm often blaming the inactive players, but I am myself one of the most inactive (during school year that is), so it's normal if you don't see me there.

ah okay, well there aint many people online when the clock says 3pm over here, but at night there are some active players.
altough not as much as i expected or hoped, but still enough to have some serious opposition :)
