There are people on smashboards who are worried we are reaching the bottom of the barrel when it comes to sensible choices for a smash game. I wish to test this, and see how many good, realistic characters the smash community can come up with. I will start by listing all sensible newcomers I can think of. But I want the community at large to contribute. If you have a sensible character I missed, feel free to post said character. This can be for the 3ds or Wii U version. Also, these should be deservative enough to be a standard character, not DLC. If the character is a somewhat odd choice, or you dispute the realisticness of one of the characters currently in the database, please explain. THIS IS NOT A WISHLIST. Don't do something stupid like suggest adding Paper Luigi. On 3rd Parties: Do not suggest the addition of a 2nd rep for any 3rd party company. So no Shadow. Any new company rep must be a mascot of their company, ex. slime/chocobo tag-team, or Pac-Man.

May I ask why no secondary additions to a 3rd party company? Case and point being Metal Gear or Sonic? Asides from you thinking "that'd be stupid and would never happen"

Could toss my own opinion out there with saying "Slippy is just stupid and would never happen." Same amount of impact as saying "no second 3rd party char from SEGA" to me, really.

I think that it just doesn't make sense. I don't think it's likely and would like to declutter the list.

I mean, at the very least why not have another Sonic and MG Char? Shadow and Psycho Mantis appeared in Brawl as AT's, so whats the barrier for having more actual characters from the series?

Every character out their that is a video game character from origin and has appeared on a Nintendo console once has a chance of getting in. The real question is, who will be in/considered? Something like this should be closer to what you're meaning.

Kinda. Let me look at what you are saying...
Mario:Good
DK: Why on earth would you give DK a new rp without giving one to yoshi or wario? DK should not recieve a new rep, unless they make Diddy a diddy/dixie team.
Yoshi: The Baby Mario Bros. and Kamek are very realistic choices for the 3ds version.
Wario: Probably right, maybe captain syrup though.
LOZ: If they give PKMN and mario a new character, then LoZ is too. It's one of nintendo's flagship series. You neglected Skull Kid, Vaati, and soe sort of toon zelda character.
