UPDATE: Okay I think this is enough people at least for the first one. If more people want to join I might just end up hosting another one on the 19th or maybe just do this every weekend. I'll make a group for everyone so far who's said they're down to do it the 18th so we can stay in touch easily. Thanks to all 21 of you so far who replied, didn't expect this many participants!

Have to say I didnt expect this thread to get any more responses XD I think we've got plenty of people for the 18th but if more people express interest, I might accommodate said interest and maybe hold a tourney on the 19th as well. @ DougX I added you! TBH this might be getting ahead of myself as I have a tendency to do that but I was also considering maybe making some kind of team or group out of all the people in the tourney so far. They seem like a rad group of people and hopefully we all get to know each other a bit better and one Sm4sh comes out, play together often. Idk we'll see what happens~

I did notice you said you've already closed off sign-ups, so I guess I can wait if necessary. If you need help planning or someone to spectate the matches to keep them fair I'd be happy to help with that as well.
