"I didn't sign up for this"!

Squirtle moaned for the millionth time. He couldn't take this walking anymore, his legs hurt, his feet hurt, his arms hurt, and he had an itch in the back of his shell that he couldn't reach.

"Ivy..." Charizard whispered. It was her turn to deal with him. Ivysaur sighed. She held up a vine for Leaf and Charizard to stop walking, then turned to face squirtle, who was in the middle of complaining about how much he hated gravel, and about how twigs kept poking him in the foot.

"Squirtle dear, would you like Char here to carry you? would that make you feel better"?

Squirtle stopped to ponder that for a minute. A ride from Charizard would be really nice right now, but he was a bit nervous about saying yes. Charizard had a habit of...messing with him whenever Ivysaur wasn't around.

"You're not very heavy. I wouldn't mind carrying you, y'know".

Squirtle looked from Charizard to Ivysaur to Charizard again. He wanted to refuse, he was really hesitat about trusting Charizard, but he had been complaining about walking for the past hour. He'd look dumb if he refused now.

"O...okay but... try not to burn me with that tail of yours, okay"?

Charizard just shrugged, he bent down so Squirtle could climb up. Squirtle had no trouble climbing up his back. Charizard patiently waited for squitle to get into position and loop his arms around his neck. Once he was settled, the group began walking again.

"We should be close now" Leaf announced after a few minutes.

"Good" Ivysaur said "I'm sure those villagers could use our help right about now".

"Perhaps squirtle and I could fly ahead" Charizard offered.

Squirtle's face immediately went pale.

"W-wait now, you know I'm terrified of heights. Let me down first"!

"That' would be great Char" Ivysaur said "tell us what you find once you get back".

"Of course".

Charizard spread his wings, preparing to take off.

"Waaaaiit" Squirtle cried "Let me off first you big dummy! what If i fall, o-or get motionsick, or--

"You'd better hold on" Charizard cautioned.

"Be safe you two" Ivysaur said.

"No! wait" Squirtle's pleas grew more frantic "Just give me one second to climb down befo-- AAAAAAHHHH"!

In just a few seconds, Squitle and Charizard were but a dot in the sky.

"Y'know" Leaf said, "I think squirtle might've wanted to get off there".

"We know" Ivysaur replied. She watched the two of them fly away, becoming smaller and smaller. "Why do you think I suggested Charizard give him a ride in the first place"?

((I'll probably be that odd guy lurks around and writes an occasional long post like... every other day or so. I'm not really sure yet, but if you'd like me to make these shorter then just say the word ))

 

[Hawk Flindaeton]

Wolf runs up to them. He's breathing really heavily.

 

[Hawk Flindaeton]

But, before he could make any progress, he couldn't continue due to a door.

So, you're at the warden. And hey look! you're friends are there. However, they scold you for taking such a rash action.
The warden is a very rough looking guy, like he's seen some things in his past (he's Ganondorf).
"So, what'd we got 'ere? Huh?! Think you will 'scape my prison? Ha! Listen kid. You and I both know how this will go.."
He's in your grasp! You intend on knocking him unconscious, but how?!

Hawk headbutts him. IN. THE. FACE!!!!

"Let me tell you something: I don't care how long it takes me. Since I can't die I will find a way out and destroy this place."

 

[Substitution]

Well, apparently the warden can't either.
"Welp, 'ere doin' this the hard way."
You intend to rush after but is stopped by a guard. You're unconscious now.
...
You wake up in some room, on the other side, there is an interrogator. He seems friendly enough, so you decide to go along.

"First, do you know why you're here?"

 

[Hawk Flindaeton]

"For experimentation?"

Hawk asks this question so quietly that the interrogator has to ask him to speak up.

(Is the chair he's sitting in bolted to the floor?)

 

[Substitution]

Irritated at his tone, he starts to yell.
"No! You're here, because of treason! Now, *slam* why'd you have to go make all that ruckus? To act like a tough guy?" "..." "Speak up!"

Curious, you look around. You see the others on the opposite side of the room. Probably unconscious, but it's too hard to tell.

(Yep. You're also chained up as well, for safety precautions.)

(Alright so I just noticed that everyone is using brawl characters so I'm gonna abandon Grovyle [unless it's okay with you] and replace his backstory and overall character with a black Yoshi with grey boots)

Yoshi slowly lifted his eyes and saw that he was securely chained to a chair. He didn't' know where he was, or even how he got there, but there was one thing for certain, his family might be involved. He glanced around the room, some other people he didn't know and a madman was all that he saw...

Irritated at his tone, he starts to yell.

Hawk wraps the chain around his arm and breaks it.

"Well if you're going to talk to me I would not like to be chained."

Hawk stands up. The interrogator looks surprised and takes a step back. Hawk assures that he won't attack him.

Toon link runs out of the room. He runs past all the guards and runs to warn the others. He reaches the mansion, but finds that no one but Marth, Mewtwo, and Lucario are at the Mansion.

"Where is everyone??!!"

"Listen to me you punk! I'll have you know I've been through a lot in my years. But you're on my last nerve. Smart mouth me again and you're friends will suffer."

Toon link runs out of the room. He runs past all the guards and runs to warn the others. He reaches the mansion, but finds that no one but Marth, Mewtwo, and Lucario are at the Mansion.

"Where is everyone??!!"

Confused, he looks further. Only to find a Mr. Game and Watch shuddering in the corner.
"Oh thank God!" He belted. "Arrest them immediately!"
Confused, he decides to ask the others. Apparently he dashed in a while ago. He threatened to arrest them. He was able to stop him before they could get their hands on him.
"Well? What do you think Link?"

(Remember: They don't know who this Mr. G&W is.)

 

[Hawk Flindaeton]

"What friends?"

(Surprising turn of events)

Falco yells at Hawk:

"WTF Hawk!!!!"

The others leave him and return home to the mansion to find Toon Link holding his sword up to Mr G&W.

"Help me!" Mr. G&W yells.

"Why? You're the one that arrested us in the first place!!!"

 

[Substitution]

Hawk throws a metal feather at all of the brawlers' and meleeans' chains. All of the characters find their way out, but Hawk refuses to leave.

"I need to find something in this place."

"Halt!"
An officer blocks the path.

The others leave him and return home to the mansion to find Toon Link holding his sword up to Mr G&W.

"Help me!" Mr. G&W yells.

"Why? You're the one that arrested us in the first place!!!"

"Look! I can explain everything! Just give me a few minutes!"
"...I, I..."
"I betrayed them!"
...You don't believe him, but you decide to see where this goes...

 

[Hawk Flindaeton]

Hawk knocks down the officer and runs down a hall.

"So how did you betray him?"

Toon Link is still holding the sword up to the desperate silhouette.

"You better tell the truth or I'll have Mewtwo pry the information out of you!!!"

Toon Link turns his head to Mewtwo.

"Doesn't that sound fun to you?"

 

[Substitution]

Hawk knocks down the officer and runs down a hall.

"...All officers report to the first floor! We have a runner!"

"So how did you betray him?"

"Well um, you see... I... erm..."

Toon Link is still holding the sword up to the desperate silhouette.

"You better tell the truth or I'll have Mewtwo pry the information out of you!!!"

Toon Link turns his head to Mewtwo.

"Doesn't that sound fun to you?"

"Well, um, what happened was..."

Out of frustration Toon Link shouted "ANSWER ME!"

"Sure um, well. You see they um... They captured us and... Locked us up. So, I was able to get out by negotiating I think and I was able to get here."

 

[Hawk Flindaeton]

Hawk continues running until he sees what he is looking for: A crystal that is in a glass case. He grabs it and an alarm sounds.

"Darn......"

Toon Link's yelling starts scaring Mr. G&W.

"I WANT TO CUT YOU UP!!!!! MAYBE THAT IS WHAT I SHOULD DO!!!!!"

Mr.G&W starts struggling.

[Substitution]

Hawk continues running until he sees what he is looking for: A crystal that is in a glass case. He grabs it and an alarm sounds.

Though, if we can, there is the decisive games thread. They love this kind of stuff.
Maybe we can try to put this there?

An officer pops up from behind.
"Freee! You're under arrest!"

Hawk jumps over the officer and runs out.

"LOOK, YOU DON'T WANT ME DEAD! I CAN GET YOU IN THERE! TRUST ME!!"

"WHY SHOULD I TRUST YOU!?!?!?!"

To be honest, not many go in this part of the forum.
Though, if we can, there is the decisive games thread. They love this kind of stuff.

Hawk comes back to the mansion and finds Mr.G&W being held by Mewtwo being interrogated by Toon Link.

"What's going on he--"

"He captured you guys and now we're deciding whether or not to chuck him off of a bridge..."

Mewtwo grabs him and holds him 500 ft in the air.

"You want me to drop you??"

Hawk flies up to Mr.G&W.

"Now we can do this the easy way or the hard way..."

 

[Substitution]

"Wait what? I though you liked me?"

"...What are we-"
Suddenly, you hear a bang on the door.
"Open up!"

 

[Hawk Flindaeton]

"I didn't say I liked you, but......"

Hawk pulls out his rapier and holds it to Mr.G&W's neck.

"....we do need to keep you as a hostage. Open the door Lucario!"

He opens it and jumps backward. The warden, along with some guards, come in and freeze when they see Hawk holding the rapier to Mr.G&W's neck.

 

[Substitution]

*creak*
...
"Hello, we're here to find some fugitives that may have been around here. Did you see anyone you'd consider suspicious?"
They seem nice enough. Not looking for trouble, you decide to answer.

 

[Hawk Flindaeton]

Hawk drops to the ground.

"Nope. Not at all. SIR."

 

[Substitution]

"Ah, okay."
"If you see anything, let us kno-"
"...Say, who's that man on the floor?"

 

[Hawk Flindaeton]

"He's a friend. We're sparring."

 

[Substitution]

"You sure? We looks like he's struggling..."

"..HELP-...PLE-..."

 

[Hawk Flindaeton]

Hawk smacks him unconscience.

"Yup!! Just sparring. It's apparent I won."

 

[Substitution]

"You sure? We looks like he's dying."
They begin an attempt to advance towards the unconscious G&W.

 

[Hawk Flindaeton]

"He's not dying. If I wanted him dead I would have hit him here."

Hawk points at Mr.G&W's neck.

 

[Substitution]

"But sir he's in critical condition."
"We're you, trying, to kill him?!"

 

[Hawk Flindaeton]

"NO! WHY WOULD I KILL HIM?!"

Then he took a moment to think.

Toon Link, he thought.

"Here. If it makes you happy, I'll heal him."

He heals Mr. G&W and assures the guards that everything will be fine.

 

[Substitution]

"Oi..."
"..."
"Sir! Thank God you're here! They attempted to-"
