SSB on iQue

So I've noticed that several games were directly ported for the Chinese console iQue. For those of you who don't know, it's a third party console that has partied with Nintendo to bring N64 to China and SSB is one of the ported titles.

I have noticed that certain games have some notable differences and I was wondering if maybe perhaps, that the software would run at full frame speed...something it does not on the N64. Considering the availability of the hardware it could possibly help bring tournament viable play to areas without access to non overclocked N64 consoles.

Anyone from the 64 community able to chime in?

Had you made that thread a few weeks ago maybe I could have checked in China since I was there for a month. Anyway I've never heard of it, but I hope it will help creating a Chinese scene.

I just confirmed that they run all N64 software at full FPS without lag which the N64 does not do for SSB. It also features a USB port so modding potential is there.

Well when he talked **** about how "worthless" our smash game is over here and bashed it about competitive play in real life.
He certainly has no reason to even post here.

Luigi sucks
He can think what he wants, but this isn't about that. If he makes any stupid remarks you can go off on him, but not here.

RockinRudy is just mad because I spend my time promoting the SSBM scene here in little Niagara and I was willing to argue that SSBM is the best choice between smash games regarding which to play in tournament. He's new not entirely his fault lolz I already had him on ignore. Posting in the ssb64 section has nothing to do with the competitive community (which is almost non existent). Nor do our personal interactions have anything to do with Smashboards....

I most certainly am going to buy one of these. Probably will increase in value as time passes as well.

Yeah sounds like it's non-existent because of your attitude toward the game. We have the best competitive community, though I wouldn't consider rudy part of it yet. You'll get a glimpse of it if you go to montreal
