SSB not a fighting game?

No I don't have any confirmed rumors.
BUT if SSB2 wasn't a fighting game, what kind would you want it to be?

My personal choice would be an action-rpg like toot.

Oh yes side-scrolling fighting is what made SSB what it is today. The head honchos of the SSB2 team will end up in the poor house if they don't follow suit.

My third choice, after ss fighting, and action-rpg would be a 3-D fighting game, with an extreme amount of user interface, and really good control over your charac.

How about an old fashioned, side scrolling, action/adventure. Choose your Nintendo hero, Have your friends choose their hero, and go out and beat a side scrolling version, of the other characters levels.
I can see Samus, with speed boots, ramming a Goomba, or a Stalkid.

I think that an Action-Rpg would be cool, especially if it's a fighting style like Secret Of Mana. That game just rocked back in the day.

Well, If it was an RPG, It would only be for single player, or maybe even a 2 player main game. I personally would like to see that, but they would most definately have to have the vs. mode run by the same engine which we all know and love.

If they made SSB2 internet compatible it would be the coolest thing ever. My biggest disappointment is that my friends and I are the only people around that we know play SSB. Then I could kick all your asses and teach you a few lessons about the greatest game of all time.

Yoshi, the 1-P king? he is the worst one for 1-P...
FOX is the best 1-P character. There is good reasoning for this. He's best at dodging enemies and getting the to kill themselves, pacifist style. He can get the shooter bonus if need be. On all the teams, he is the best with his jumping up-a, it is incredibly easy to get rainbow, ranks, trickster, hawk, etc...And if you suck, he's the best on master hand. With fox, it goes like this. Every time MH is going to attack, you shield. If it's the gun, you blue shield. If it's a slap, top or side, you stay shielded. If it's anything else, you can run across the level, and fox's speed outruns any move. But everyone can beat MH so moot point. But
Fox is the best 1-P. (I'm the authority on the subject, I have 1647050 with Fox.)

Secondly...Jeff, nobody cares, we all think that about ourselves.

Thirdly...Charger, I am probably not that good comparitively on account of I only ever really play against my bro and his friend, and they suck compared to me and only use DK, so it's not good practice.

fourthly...Cyp, Charger put people on the list who don't really brag about their skills. You do, so of course you're not on it.

actually yoshi is increcibly good in 1p. because hes so **** strong and when he double jumps he cant be knocked around. you make it seem as if hes the worst character too. in my opinion jiggly or ness is the hardest in 1p.

Yoshi does kick in 1-P.

1. Down+A = fastest MH kill
2. Down+B = kill anyone below
3. Up+B = 1-hit-kill for yoshis/kirbys, range is good for close contact.

Um...there's other reasons...none that I can think of. But he's better than fox in 1p, though not by that much.

For those who aggree with ssb not a game, I'll have to disaggree. I belive a game that lasts for over 1 1/2 years is iether a fighting game or a very long one, and i know ssb diddnt have the biggest ammount of lengh to its 1-p menu. Therefore its a fighting game for sure.(Or a very good imitation).
