I think I know what Master Hand will be like in Brawl. My theory comes from playing Kirby ^^
In Kirby and the Amazing Mirror for Gameboy Advance, Master Hand and Crazy Hand were bosses and if you swallowed them you got the smash ability which gave you the same moveset as in Smash Bros. Melee. Just recently I picked up Kirby Squeak Squad for DS. I wouldn't recommend it since the game is terribly short and all too easy (here's hoping for the Kirby Superstar remake) but, it did offer up an interesting enemy found briefly in only two levels of the game.
In the second Extra level in the game in Nature Notch, what looks to be the ghost of Master Hand suddenly appears, shrouded in black mist, floating ominously toward you. This enemy dies in just a few hits and doesn't do much, but I can't help but think he was put in there as a preview. I looked up the name of the enemy in an FAQ and the Japanese name for it is Uja (can't seem to find a translation or an official English name).
I think having the ghost of Master Hand as the boss of Classic Mode would be awesome... Spectral Hand... and maybe the the Ghost of Crazy Hand... Demon Hand. ^^
Ummm, oh yeah! Here's a clip of the one level I'm talking about. You can briefly see the Ghost of Master Hand at about 3:11 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7w-FHOWXkNs
Compare "Spectral Hand" with the sprites used for Master Hand in Kirby and the Amazing Mirror and you can see they're the same. http://www.spriters-resource.com/ni...ource.com/nintendo/kirby/katam/masterhand.png
Oh yeah, there's also a similar enemy who appears just as infrequently as Master Hand's ghost, shrouded in the same black mist. It looks like a sabre/sword and when it gets close it tries to stab you. Perhaps Master Hand will use a sword in Brawl? That would be pretty cool! =3
