Tbh I don't think I'd mind. My roommate is likely getting the 3DS version so I can live the game through him haha until the Wii U version comes out. The earlier Japanese release pretty much ensures I'll be spoiled anyway at some point inadvertently. I just can't decide if I want to spoil all of it for myself, or be ignorant and whatever happens, happens.......Realistically I'll prob just spoil myself hahaha so bring on the info!

I think the most we'll get is some custom moves and maybe some explanation on game modes. I wouldn't expect anything big.

Corocoro comes out around August 15th I think, so the broadcast would already be over by that time. Can't buy it.

To play a bit of devil's advocate, it's possible that the broadcast might be Japan only since the 3DS game will be available next month. The Mario Kart 8 direct was around one month prior to the game's release, but it was being released worldwide within days of each other. We might be getting an a direct geared to us in that same timeframe.

Or they may announce a direct tomorrow and Corocoro let the cat out of the bag early.

It's either fake, or really, really bad journalism.

I'm assuming it's fake and made to generate clicks on a site I've never heard of. That's probably why they used specific buzzwords repetitively, to try and garner more search engine hits.

Well, we got a worldwide Hyrule Warriors Direct before the game being released in Japan, so I don't see why they'd do a Japan-exclusive Smash Direct...

I'm sure we'll get a Direct soon, whether it's a general Direct or a Smash-specific one.
