Spammers make my piss boil...

We all know em'. Spammers are those stupid little insects who use the same move or series of moves consecutively; they will continue this to the point where you just want to beat them unconscious! Snake is a great character and there are many players who can use him in a SOLID,clean match. He has a very deep moveset, but I have been noticing recently that he is very easy to use as a spammer due to the strength of his moves. This practice is even more irritating than lucario spamming aura spheres or wolf with his forward smash. An example can be found in a match I was playing today( sorry no video). I was using fox on battleship halberd against a snake who would constantly barrage me with grenades and repeat the same neutral aerias at the edge for at least one minute straight. Using the snake dash, he would just constantly whip around the stage and drop grenades like owl pellets. It was really quite irritating, yet in the end I managed to defeat him by using a fox illusion to creep behind him as he was setting up his nikita in an attemp to edge guard (for the hundreth time) and a charged upsmash to finish the match. It's not very important, but just a giant nuisance.

If you're getting beat by 3 moves then why would a spammer do anything else? if you know what a spammer is gonna do then stop getting hit by it. Fox had a decent matchup vs snake if you know what you're doing.

Let me edit this post. I was a little infuriated with what you have said.

I understand what you are trying to say but...

Sometimes dealing with someone fast like Fox takes fast moves. Grenade placement is probably key against someone like Fox. It's fast and protects if the Fox is attacking at a fast rate. Snake can't do much to move as fast as Fox can. So what do you use? Grenades!

I wouldn't "camp" for say but, rather use grenades to make Fox's moves incapable of doing. Basically make a smaller map for him. Also, like I said, to protect me from Fox's barrage of attacks. Because, thats how Fox plays.

So many of these come up just cuz people are losing to snake. Ummm like hostility said if he's doing the same 3 moves then develop your own 3 counters to what you can do to get past it. You could spam back at him with yo laser and he will have to approach and then you could spam your fox illusion and dashing usmash idk I dont play fox. Just watch his grenades and if he IS'NT cooking them then you should always pick them up and throw them right back at him.

But you're faster, you can avoid grenades, and you can also laser them to blow them up right in snakes hand. and you can only have 2 grenades out at a time, that's not gonna stop someone from moving like it seems like you're trying to say.
