B-air is your best spacing tool, f-tilt is good because it has good range, is fast and since Kirby's feet (or just the tip of his feet, IDK) are disjointed, if often clanks with other attacks. I find myself clanking with Marth's tilts and sometimes his f-smash. D-tilt is good cause it trips and can often shield stab. Final cutter can be used for spacing and forcing approaches, but the landing lag is bad, so if they predict it and shield the shock wave, you'll probably be punished.

To keep them away, b-air and f-tilt are your best bet. B-air/f-tilt OOS is good for punishing. Approaching, b-air is again your best bet, just make sure you always space it. F-air is nice for approaching, but to a lesser extent because it has landing lag when done from a SH, so you have to make sure to always space it. Walking and f-tilting can be used as an approach, but it's very situational.

Hope it helps.
