Smash Lord
Thinking of holding a tournament as we currently lack them. I haven't been to any tournaments just yet, so I need a little walkthrough of what we'll need for this to see if this is a reality. If anyone's interested post and let me know and a little help would be appreciated.
I'm going to talk this over more with friends as I understand more about what's needed in preparation.
All are welcome if we get this going, but the people hosting this (myself and friends) are all serious Christians. That means no sketchy stuff going on, including: drinking, drugs, smoking, swearing, inappropriate or lewd talk or behavior--that sort of thing. Basically, just be polite and normal human beings and we should get along fine (although some people aren't used to not swearing).
And, in case you're worried, we're not going to kick anyone out if they swear once or anything. I have friends that swear and they apologize when it happens or just try not to do it. So, we're not going to be uptight, but if someone's cursing like ridiculous and refusing to stop or engaging in inappropriate talk or behavior and refuses to stop, we reserve the right to remove disturbances.
I'm sure none of this would happen, but I'm just letting you guys know ahead of time.
So, anyone up for it?
[I'm also considering forming a group that meets regularly if this goes well and people are interested. I've also also been considering doing a tournament in which each person needs to win two out of three matches, and each match uses a different smash game. Just a thought but I don't think it'll be this one. Let me know if you like the idea, though.]
