sound glitch

when i play smash on my 64 the audio will glitch out, and the back ground music will stop and it will make a strange sound ( kind of like if you just took a small clip of a word and played it backwards ) most notably it once said Richard, also when a blastoise came out of it's poke ball it said blas-squirtle. just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Thats because your console is old and fvcked up. I've seen this a lot of times. Just take off the cartridge, blow it and put it on again

I find your story hard to understand...the pokemon blastois...came out and startign to say his normal sound, then stopped and said something that has no prgammed relation to the game...?
