Maybe I'm not familiar enough with brackets, but how come quite a few people are getting first round byes? Wouldn't it make more sense to match some of them against each other for the first round?

Unfourtanently, this Saturday, I am extremely busy, with Solo and Ensamble being a big step in my musical career, and my friends birthday being this Saturday as well, I am moving the tournament back 2 weeks.to May 2, 2015. Same times apply. I will update the bracket and chat tournament dates soon. I hope you guys can understand. With a whopping 68 people in the 3DS tournament and 41 for Wii U, I hope you will continue to support this tournament. Thanks for understanding. In trade, customs are allowed because you guys are wonderful and deserve the best Smash experience you can earn!

Na the only thing you could do is host it on Sunday or late late Saturday night. But I'm only a single person. I don't think it'd be worth moving the entire tourney to try and accommodate for me.

OK that's good to know since I knew you were going to host it on Apr. 18th before. I'm doing a lot of stuff on that day so I'm glad you changed the date.

If I decide to finally update my system and rid myself of PKHeX, then I can probably get to home at May 2nd and check in the tournament later at about 12:30 or higher. Though maybe without much practice. I'm playing for the 3DS version of the game, my main is Yoshi and I hold no regrets, and my FC is 4382-2513-9345.

UPDATE 3: Please don't use any custom combos that can cause infinite combos. This is so that people with skill can have a fair chance in the bracket along side those with customs. NO EQUIPMENT.

Its not too late to join until 1 hr before check-in. After that, no more participants are allowed to join.



While I'm posting, I want to talk about how this tournament will be structured. Everyone will check-in 1 hr before the tournament starts on the bracket page. Then, join the chat on Athner's Ladder. Once I say "Round One, Start!" you will play your first matches. When you finish fighting, report your progress to the bracket and chat. Make sure when you are making your matches, you mark them "For Glory, Bo3." After that I will type in the next round as the routine repeats. WII U USERS ONLY my brother nscm100 is participating, so he will show up as my Miiverse name, but in-match named nscm100, so be aware that you'll have to wait after I finish my match in order to play him. The tournament is this Saturday, May 2nd. Make sure you are prepared. I gurantee you, that the next tournament will have doubles matches so you can play with a friend. I will post this same message to the tournament brackets and the chats. See you all then.
