I got an idea, lets give sonic's nair a few frames of invicibility exactly like his insta-shield in sonic 3 and knuckles.
I like this idea as well.I like this idea.
Don't make me bust out the sonic trvia >_>. And glad people like it.I like this idea.

Insta-shield was in Sonic 3 as well as Sonic 3 and Knuckles. ;D
Anyway, that along with buffed damage may help out Sonic.
I did see it. But a slightly increased hitbox range of the move seemed like it would better emulate his insta shield attack from Sonic 3. Either way works with me.
Btw you dont need the expansion for the move ^_-.
Agreed on the buffs.Sonic 3 and Knuckles. == Sonic 3 - Minus levels and a character. YOu know that. They were originally the same game before they got split up.
One of the later beta's of Sonic 3 was infact a full Sonic 3 and Knuckles game, sans glitches and bad stuffs and what not.
Also, I think that buffed damage to nair WITH invici frames might be a bit toooo much. I speed increase would be nice to help it link into stuff.
I know they were one and then split before release due to hardware or time limitations. However I go by release and thus they were two seperate games in my childhood.Sonic 3 and Knuckles. == Sonic 3 - Minus levels and a character. YOu know that. Not until you combine them. :3I know they were one and then split before release due to hardware or time limitations. However I go by release and thus they were two seperate games in my childhood.
The color you pick with sonic determines the kind of element nair gets.I don't think we can expand hitboxes anyways. ALR would be good on it, or if you really want to be original theres always attack types like stun, ice, electricity and things. =P
Y'know there are Darkness and Aura elements too. ;DNot until you combine them. :3

Red Sonic = Fire Nair with Extra Damage
Normal Sonic = Nair with invici frames.
Yellow Sonic = Electric Nair with Electric hitlag
Black Sonic = Water nair with Extra KB.
Green Sonic = Nair with twice as much ALR.
;DDDDD How is that for canon moves?

And cool pic. ^
Add element absorption for the respective type and sonic will be just right >_>.Not until you combine them. :3

Sonic+ BETA 4.1 said:-Sonic U smash always spikes slightly backwards, 260º on the last hit
-Sonic U tilt has 1.75x winddown
-Sonic D smash comes out 2x as fast
-Sonic U smash Sped up 4x for the last 16 frames
We. Cannot. Change. Hitboxes. How many times has this been said? At this current moment in time, we cannot edit lengths, sizes, or anything with hitboxes other than what can already be done with the hitbox property code.I think the instant shield idea is great along with a slightly disjointed hit box, as long as it's only for an extremely short time like in Sonic 3. Making it stronger might be a bit much though.

Doubtful unless it is an effect like fire or ice.So no inviciframes?
iirc , the effects are merely disjointed hitboxes with attributes attached to them. They don't take on a hitbox of their own unless there is one already. So evne if you remove the electrical sparks from pikachu's Dsmash, the disjointed hitbox remains.Doubtful unless it is an effect like fire or ice.
