Well, since they confirmed our release date already and they didn't have a definite release date for Japan. Plus we got an update on the N. American release date. Just look at my sig. we got Dec. 3rd to wait for.

Is that true that Japan didn't already have a release date? If so, it's true that we got an update for our release date, meaning it could possible stay the same, as crazy as that seems.

There has to be a reason for the delay...so unless you want the American Version unfinished and crappier than the Japanese....we get it in Feb.



The ONLY reason it would not change is Dec is a American consumer INSANITY month....but i don't know

You guys...

...because it was delayed in Japan does NOT necessarily mean it will be delayed here. There are reasons for delays outside of development issues. They just might want to release it in a time period where they think it would be most profitable.

Also, many Nintendo games come here before Japan. I believe all the Metroid Prime games came here first. Alot of DS games, we get first. We got Twilight Princess first....I think?

EDIT: Yup, we got Zelda TP first.

Also, people are speculating that the reason for SSBX delay in Japan is to make room for Wii Fit which should do wonders in Japan

Here's food for thought:

On the English Dojo underneath the trailers it does say Release Date Dec 3

BUT

If you check Japan's site it also says that it'd be released sometime in 07.

So to them this was a surprise. It's not like everyone in Japan reacted with "Oh...so that's when it's coming out here".

It says on the link that the game was DELAYED(KEY WORD DELAYED) until late January. It didn't say "Brawl in Japan release date comfirmed!!".
