Looks like Sonic is the fastest what a shocker, i never realized G&W was fast, Times are listed after you see the a certain character run. ENJOY!

Luigi is floatier and a higher jumper, but Mario is a faster runner (with better traction).

It's been that way since Mario Bros. 2 and 3.

In Super Mario Galaxy Luigi is definitely faster than Mario. But whatever.

Overall, I'm happier with the running speeds this time around. DK and G&W getting boosts is cool. Just one thing bothers me, and that's Zelda being as slow as Dedede. I'm very pleased that she's buffed in every area, but...the same running speed as a waddling penguin? Could've done with being at least a twiddle faster than him. Oh well.

Also, I think that if anything, Sonic should have been even faster. Faster than Wario Man's bike, even. If you're going to overkill something, you might as well overkill it through a brick wall in blazing glory.

In Super Mario Galaxy Luigi is definitely faster than Mario. But whatever.

In the older games, he wasn't a secret bonus character. They had to make him significantly better than Mario in Galaxy so it would actually be worth playing again with Luigi.

Remember people, this is ground dashing speed, not attack speed. Doesn't mean that Bowser is faster then Squirtle, it means that he can move along the ground faster.

After watching every characters run speed....I couldnt help but laugh at the end as Sonic stomped them all into the ground in terms of ground speed.
