Some of the people are just so annoying online. SO ANNOYING. All they do is spam, spam, spam, thinking they're good because they win. I bet on the other end of that internet connection, the person is joyous and happy because they're the "best with sonic" or the "best with shulk." NO! You spam spam spam UGHH. I cant even. I am so close to thrashing my remotes. I cant even progress either. I try to train myself over and over and over again, but it just doesn't do anything for me. I am mad.

But what I want to ask is, do you ever stop to think that the person on the other end cant even notice that they're spamming?

I'm sure they're aware of it, but even if they ain't, some people just like winning for the sake of winning.

For your own sake, I'd suggest getting over it and carrying on. Just drop it and play on anyway. No point getting upset about it and letting some salty matches spoil your fun with the game.

Op you realize if they're "spamming" the same moves over and over, they're really easy to predict, and therefore its often not hard to find a way around it.

If its just a really good move, well...deal with it. a player would be stupid to not use their best option, especially if the opponent they're against can't find a way to beat it.

If I can win by using Buster, and spamming back throw Back Slash up to high percents and then killing with a Smash down throw, I will. For every stock.
Against people who don't always pick Rock, (no, not ) I'll proceed to play properly.

Sometimes you met a pro that is so good that it keeps spamming you in 1v1, then there's nothing you should whine about. However though, in 4 smash. You will definitely meet some that just so bad that it keeps using the same special move( I met Kirbys who keep use up B, Ganondorfs keep using side B, Charizards keep using side B etc...), when you are fight so hard in a battle, then a BAM!!!!!! Either you or your opponent or even both got KOed. (This is what I called a bad "vulturing". Even worse than being spammed.
So @ HiddenKitsune , I want to ask you somthing, I've only played 3DS version cuz I don't have a Wii U, but I hope you understand, that have you ever felt that your are weak and suck in Smash since you keep getting spammed? That you feel that you kept losing? You're not alone, I have a same feeling with you bud. And you are not the first one who made a thread about the online mode....sometimes if you feel that you are suck online, then it sometimes you need to be offline, train hard if you can. And sometime laggy online and input are the reason why you are suck(Especialky on the 3DS). If you had problems, or just feel frustrated with online, contact me anytime! You don't really need to make a thread simply ragging about the freaks online. Goid Luck, and stay happy when Smashing!

Yep, but it is sometime annoying when a character use same special moves in 4 player Smash, even though themselves might not win, it just made others unhappy.

Eh, you work it out but at the same time, you better flex those other muscles instead of jaw muscles. At one point you've seen it enough to grow "immune" to it, whether it's your own methods or techs taken from these sites helpin' you gain an edge.

Not gonna lie, that's the source of most of these threads.

My advice? In future, just go outside, scream at something for a while and then come back in and play. Wait 'til the salt has reduced before getting back into the game and having fun with it.

This is more your own problem, I have no problem dealing with spammers. I main falcon, and it's fairly easy to block and then rush in. Most spammers generally suck once you get close up. Although it depends what characters you main, some have a hard time dealing with these tactics. But all the spammers i run into are extremely predictable and therefor extremely easy to outsmart.

If they keep beating you then they are better then you. If what they are doing is working why should they stop? Edit whoops sorry for double post

If they keep beating you then they are better then you. Why should they stop when it is working? The problem is not their spamming it is your lack of a coping strategy.
