ive been on these forums for a while, never seen anything about it so here it goes.

dash canceled(crouch canceled?) ->d-smash.

iight so basically your running across the stage right, then your oppenet is about to land by the edge or is about to grab the ledge, so you run, press down(crouch or dash cancel i cant remember, but you just press down) then hit down on the c-stick. it comes out of no where. ive like to use it, and it basically works. anyone care to comment, tell me if they knew this, or anything?

oh it has to be after the dash animation ends. and you have to press down-> down on c-stick fast or else it would just be like you just let go of the watever direction you were moving then did a down smash. quickness.

Yeah, it's common knowledge that you can crouch out of a run and dsmash, but finding applications for it with Falcon is kinda meh. His dash dance is so long that you're usually better off only dashing and not running, so you have more control over your movement options. And if you whiff the dsmash he's left open for a pretty long time.

It's kinda useful as a surprise once in a while though. I prefer just dsmashing out of a dashdance, because you don't have to wait for the crouch to start and it's just more sudden, but whatever.

Oh, like as an edgeguard? Falcon's dsmash relies on them messing up pretty badly for you to edgeguard them that way...

If you're that far from the edge, I'd just run off and hit them with a double jump uair/knee. Otherwise if you're close to the edge, I'd use utilt. Dsmash is more of a tech chase thing, I think.

You mean when the CPU recovers and completely fails of even coming close to sweetspotting and you landing a d-smash? @_@
