Looking for the quickest launcher to do out of Jab Combo via link when DThrow won't let you combo? Get this.
Chances are you know the following:
You can cancel a Dash with:
Dash Attack
USmash
Dash (opposite direction)
Grab
But, what most of you may not know is this...
You can cancel Dash with Pivot (via opposite direction).
Why is this useful? In case you didn't you, the FASTEST launcher for Luigi is USmash...but here's the thing, the beginning of the hitbox (what you want for instant hit) is on the back of Luigi (where he starts the headbutt). But, if you Pivot before hand, you can get a REALLY FAST launcher follow up IN FRONT of you. This allows you to link your USmash to your first Jab very well.
Now for the thing I've been working up to...
So if you do that Pivot USmash, you'll notice the range is limited...so what if your opponent is too far after the jab because that's where your jab caught them?
You can do this:
Jab->Dash->Pivot->USmash
Tada, now you can exploit the speed and power of USmash with a wider range.
