I don't like any of them. Terrible lighting, color, and compo. Look up some tuts.

If that's what you think you could've at least provided some tutorials you think would've been helpful. :ohwell:

And I don't think these aren't as bad as all that. MKOwnage, post signatures in this thread for advice. http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=235708 Just, uh, remember to critique someone else's first. Common courtesy...

Really like the third one by the way, you did something interesting with a central focal point, which is pretty tough I think. It's got a great atmosphere.

Unless you are going to add some constructive advice you have no room to criticize.
You do understand those are two different words.
Some advice is to learn on not making such distracting effects and cluttered messes of colors. Like on the last sig, the background looked like glittery shiny throw up. It distracts a lot from the render whih is bad. The best one is either the first or second. The both suffer from over powering or bad lighting. The composition, or arrangment of effects is, is terrible and has no since of flow since it all moves away from the focal.

Also I didn't post any tuts because any tut I use I buy at planetrender.

Gotta clean up your work dude, messy as hell.
And what Doro said ^. Except for the distracting thing (Tbh I don't get why people say that, whats the point of having all these effects and ****, they're all just going to distract from the focal anyway)

Allow me to help out as well;

First off - TOTALLY get rid of the text for now. Text takes time to learn.

1st sig - There isn't much of a focal point. That's not a good render either, her face is getting over shadowed, you'd have to put darkness around that to help it balance, colors aren't terrible though.

2nd sig - Too light in too many places. Try to pick some complementary colors, too. Also I want to point out I'm not sure if you used brushes or C4D renders but you're overdoing it a bit...it's becoming all the effects in your sigs. If you're new to sigs this isn't a problem but don't make it a habit

3rd sig - Your render actually blends well with the sig. The only problem is the sig is HORRIBLY messy and the flow is way off. Also there's a weird green dot that's taking up a lot of my attention, try to get rid of it.

I would suggest some tuts. I took the liberty of searching for some simple ones, these will help you improve. http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&s...p+sig+tuts#order=9&q=Simple+Photoshop+sig+tut

Good luck, as long as you improve then you're doing well.

EDIT: @Doro - Dude the last sig is the best by far, it creates depth. Creating depth in a sig is REALLY a lot harder than most people think. I see depth in his sig and not only that, it may distract from the focal some yes, but look at the lines on the left, they lead up to the render. If he just cleaned up the right side and got rid of some of the mess it would be a great sig.

Were these done using tutorials? Because there's like a HUGE skill difference between all of them.

Also I didn't post any tuts because any tut I use I buy at planetrender.
You...pay...for Photoshop tutorials?
