some help please

i always play with my cousins, who have rather n00bish skills, thats when i take out Falcon into fights for practicing combos, well i want to know how to punish them with a Knee everytime they miss a f-smash as they try to edgeguard me. i cant seem to do it right. is it fastfall jump then knee? or is it c-stick away from ede jump knee? i cant seem to get the timing right.

and if you can what would you recommend as an attack to punish hitlags when im on the edge

Great victims to show the true power of the knee. a missed noob forward smash is quite noticable if you get the hitlag timing right. A missed forward smash in this case is a chance to knee, grab etc. Are you having trouble landing a sweetspot knee? Are you trying to knee them away from the ledge? MY favourtie edgegaurding attacks are kneeing(obviously), tilts, and maybe throw in a smash or two. If they miss a fsmash on the ground, a good uthrow will start a combo. Its a perfect setup and end with the knee. Even during hitlags if they miss, a grab or two will work, and is perfect for combos.

im sorry i must've phrased it badly... i meant that i want to punish edge guarders who are suffering from lags becuase of their smash attack (i.e. marth's f-smash and other similar attacks)
i want to knee them as i get off from the edge (similar to falco's double laser from ledge, except more sexier), i just cant seem to do it right. i keep missing the stage and SD... yeah howw n00bish. well besides from that is there any other moves that you'd recommend that i should do?

Uhh..not that complicated. Ledgehop to knee. Do the exact motions as you do falco's ledgehop to double laser.

i can land the knee occassionally but always miss the stage, is the timing for the edge drop - second jump much faster than i expect it to be?

or

am i supposed to fast fall my ledge hop or not?

You're barely supposed to go below the stage. It just looks as if you jumped up from the part where you grab. Just tap down and jump.

alright man thanks... switching between falcon and falco/luigi feels weird, but thats what practice is for

yeah umm, do you know of any? the one that i smash with ( thats not my cousins) are in gainsville... i think he's joining some competitive gaming club, so you guys might see him in future tourneys
