So yeah, finally got a -decent-, and cannot stress that word enough, video of some matches with my Falcon against one of my friend's. I'd like ya'lls thoughts on it and see if ya'll can't help me improve my game and what not. Forewarning now, there are some big mistakes in the matches that I know of, the Falcon Punch recovery, standing still, full jump nairs. Yeah, was an off night for me, but this was the best that I could record of myself. Anyways, here's the link, so have at it and give me some feedback. ^.^

Zhenkai (C.Falcon) vs Jordan (Dr. Mario/Marth) Friendlies

Also...gonna try for better vids of less screw ups in the future. x.x

So far you look like a promising falcon. I hope you know about the rising falcon punch. At 1:44 you had a really good idea(I'm actually going to work on getting that combo to work). All I can say now is to get more experience and practice tech skill.

Some of the most important tech skill any falcon should know is platform tech skill. Such as, platform dropping, shield dropping and wave landing on command. If you don't understand, I can record some of this and post it.

Also, a falcon need to be able to dash out of almost any l-cancel in order to maximize his speed. No character should ever beat falcon in speed, so take advantage of it. I practice my dashing by, l-canceling a stop then dash forward as fast as I can, then turn around and do it again in the opposite direction. Again, if you don't understand, I'll record it and post it.

Well I know about most of the tech skills, but yeah, I don't apply 'em cuz I'm forgetful, ehehe. Sadly my friend's don't like to play most platform stages, well I should say, virtually all...so I don't get much practice in there except against computers. Oh, and for the Rising Falcon Punch, I did that, but I fell towards the stage too much and got caught under it instead of wall kicking off the lower point of it.

What I will try to work on is what you said last, the l-canceled stomps into dash pivots. Need to work on my pivoting a lot more anyways. My tech game, except for the low % ground techs (Still gettin' use to that, sadly) is fairly good. My wall tech and edge tech game is usually more spot on, but didn't have much to go with.

I appreciate the feedback, and hey, every little bit counts. ^.^ I'd rather be told what I'm screwin' up with now and how to improve rather than later down the road, ya know?

You have tournament-ready tech skill, but work on what Yoshiman said. Try not to do the Falcon Punch so you fall off the edge. Great mindgames, but not very effective if you SD because of it.

1:35 - missed stage tech

With Marth, its essentially a "who-can-have-better-spacing" game (who grabs first).

Abuse CF's speed, evidence shown in Taj vs Silentspectre 1. SS ran RINGS around him in the first match.

Love the mindgames.

Wheres the third hit of the Gentleman? You aren't comfortable with it/working on it?

Overall, you have a bad*** Falcon.

Well, for the stage tech, I wasn't at high enough of a %, I don't think anyways, to where it would knock me back against it, only stun my recovery more than I thought to where I couldn't attempt another one, as what happened. No honest idea as to why, but that's my guess.

Spacing, I'm usually better at it with Fox and Samus, not Falcon so much. I just like being in the opponent's grill, so to speak. XD

I've already been tryin' some of what Yoshiman said, and slowly gettin' it down, but gettin' there. Also for the Gentleman...yeah, I have guesswork on that a lot. XD I've been trying some of the different methods for it, but I can't seem to get 'em down, so I usually just stick with a jab or two, but sometimes get it right.

If you don't hit anything you should also do the hold A method, but you do need to slow down the timing a bit to make up for not having the added hitlag. Holding A (or Z which also acts as an A input) on the 3rd hit until after you IASA out of the jab sequence will always be beneficial since rapid punches are triggered by comparing your total A input duration vs total time. The reason holding the 3rd input helps is because each A input duration is only determined on release, so if you never actually release the 3rd A input and IASA while still holding it that 3rd one doesn't get included in the total at all.

Gentlemans are made easier by keeping your total A input duration low (releasing the A button faster when doing the 1st and 2nd punches and holding the 3rd input to omit it), and your total time high (spacing one or more of the punches farther apart and hitting something which adds hitlag to the total time). As the total A input becomes shorter and/or more hitlag is added, the time between punches can be shorter while still getting the gentleman. When the total A input becomes longer and/or less or no hitlag is added you will need to space the punches out more.
This should help.
