I wish I was aware back when Smash 64 got released that Nintendo hosted tournaments at local malls. I was too young so there was no way I would be aware of such a thing. Imagine if with the current skill you have, you could go back in time and go to one of these tournaments and just completely obliterate everyone there.

AFAIK, they can click the little timestamp below your post that has the details of your edit. Normally, you yourself can click this timestamp on one of your own posts to see the edits you made, but no one else's. Mods just have the power to click on everyone's stamp. Thanks to this new live-update feature though I edited in time (less than a minute?) to prevent said timestamp from appearing.

Hi,

I just got my online setup functioning and have played a few matches, getting totally crushed. It's a big adjustment from console imo. I find myself button mashing bc of perceived lag and all. Plus I think everyone is better.

So my question is... Is there anyone I could ask to mentor me a little bit, both on the online setup and glaring flaws in my game? As in play some matches with me and answer questions? I remember seeing a mentor thread somewhere somewhen but I did a search tonight and found nothing.

I'm in the Southeastern US, EST. If that matters.

The NSW boys over on Aus regional boards had a cool idea to make a family tree with their player, and I thought I'd take that idea and use it for the Aus 64 scene. Just throwing it out there because you guys over in Europe/America might want to make your OWN smash tree.

Only played a handful of times, so now I'm probably even worse. I will try to upload some more ****ty combos but it's more likely I'll just disappear again.


That said... this new layout!? POW I feel like I'm being punched in the face every time I load a new screen. So many colors, and that blue bar on top is blinding.
