You do a good job of selling what you're acting. I've found a lot of amateur actors have a hard time expressing themselves and come off as just reading a script until you drag what you want out of them. You don't sound like that at all. Good job. :b:
Thanks! I really appreciate it! That means a lot to me, especially coming from you.

That's an 80s mascot for a FNAF fangame so I hope I sold that sorta "radical" feel.

The modeler is a legend. The model actually looks horrific. When I got the image I actually asked if he wanted something scarier but he wanted a "happy to the point of being scary" sorta approach. lol

The trailer was especially very misleading having expected a combination of time travel and massive space adventure of a grand scale going through.

Plus the whole premise was very dark on the level of The Empire Strikes Back given the Snap that just wiped out 50% of all life and yet again to keep audiences attained has the usual jokey jokes which should had been an exception. Not saying it had to be totally dark but should of used levity similar to that of The Empire Strikes Back.

I still hate what they did to Thor...Unforgivable...
Thor's arc in Avengers Endgame (and Ragnarok/Infinity War) is legitimately one of the best things in the MCU. I know other people have pointed this out, but I just have to back them up. Thor was a horridly bland and stagnant character before Waititi and the Russo brothers got ahold of him to make something real and entertaining. Chris Hemsworth was actually given the opportunity to show his strengths as an actor after carrying an otherwise lackluster role through 4 films.

I also don't really get why Endgame needed to be some completely dark event. It managed to achieve a lot of reactions to the fallout of the snap through several different characters. There was real misery to some, acceptance and lies to others. I think it showed a lot of different colors of grief and acceptance that was necessary to depict an event like that. Humor is a large part of that as humans deal with grief in their own ways that may sometimes seem inappropriate, and especially since I think most of the humor came from when characters were genuinely reuniting and forming bonds post snap. The movie takes place 5 years after the event for the most part. While you don't really move on, you'd still be moving forward, which was a big theme of the movie. I do think the movie had an absolute ton to juggle and some aspects did suffer, but I don't think the film has any contemporaries and managed to pull off most of what it set out to do wonderfully.

This sounds fun...

@Taylor F likes Spider-Man the most
Metal Shop X Metal Shop X likes Hulk the most
And Nate, I'm gonna do a wild guess and say that Black Widow is at the top of your list.

I wonder what you think mine is. :p
See Nate, even Hat is wrong!

My favourite MCU character is the pizza guy from Spider-Man 2 intro!....wait, what do you meant that doesn't count?

The average class at college or university is 3 credit hours, so you'd be taking 21 credit hours. That's a lot of hours, which would explain why you feel burnt out much of the time. Now, if you take a couple of those future classes online instead of going with the standard in-class/lecture hall format, it could save you a lot of time. I loved taking online classes when I was in college, because I could work on homework at my own pace. Lecture hall classes eat up a lot of space, but if you take online classes...you can work at your own pace and save time.

And, are you able to take classes that focus on writing scripts and stage management? If you take those, you become more well-rounded and your weaknesses become less severe.
I know that one or two of them are two credit classes so.....

Either way, I took one class mostly online in the first semester and I completely failed it. I guess I could try again, especially over next summer where (if I can loose the weight) I will have a lot more downtime then I do now.

As for taking the classes that help me improve on the areas where I suffer? I've been doing that, but I am always the most "behind" compared to all the other students and I'm always the worst in the class. I try my hardest, but I almost feel like I should have taken some sort of other whole year of "beginners" classes before hand because I constantly feel like the teacher is just assuming I know certain things that I don't.

I am indeed a Spiderman type of guy.

Peni Parker is also criminally underrated, but only her Spiderverse adaption. (I realize how cliche that sounds.) She's obviously supposed to be stereotypical but it's done in a great way. I really hope we see more of that take. Her "canon" take isn't as enjoyable.

All in all, though, Spiderman is better. He's more fleshed out.

Hmmm... Let's see...

Guh-Huzzah! Guh-Huzzah! - Spider Ham
Dyllybirdy Dyllybirdy - Gamora....? Dylly likes green girls, right? /s
Favorite MCU character? Captain Marvel? Do the TV show characters count because if they do then Jessica Jones. I enjoy Marvel and the MCU but... not enough to really have a favorite. Especially recently. With how well DC is starting to do... I'm just getting tired of Marvel.

Hopefully I love Mysterio in Far From Home as much as Talos.

He is my favourite Spidey villain.

Far From Home made him go from "He exists" to "Dang he's actually pretty awesome."
And the new father-figure Peter didn't realize he needed after Tony died.

I just can't tell you how much I loved the scene where Happy comforts a traumatized Peter after Mysterio mentally broke him. It really shows Peter's character despite the responsibilities that deep down he's still a child at heart and that nobody is perfect nor flawless.

Honestly, MCU's type of humor is actually amazing. I felt like Shazam kinda tried to "copy" it, but it worked so well, so I really don't mind.

Also, I saw Far From Home today. I'm glad the MCU is continuing the trend of making me actually care about Spiderman as a character. Homecoming was the first Spiderman property to actually resonate with me and help me see what people liked in the character, and Far From Home just builds completely on that with one of the better villains in the MCU. I'm surprisingly invested in this MJ and Peter Parker, and Peter has been given so much more character thanks to the surrounding MCU than I think he ever really got in the Raimi or Webb movies. Another great film to close out Phase 3. I really hope that Marvel and Sony can continue playing nice to keep him around and in future films.
And J.K. Simmons being back as J. Jonah Jameson makes me so happy since it's the only element of the original Raimi films I genuinely loved, and sets up for such a great third film.

1. John Wick Chapter 3 - Despite all reason, this film series keeps delivering the most impressive and crunchy action of Holywood. I can't believe they've managed to strike gold every time they've come to this character and series, and they keep expanding the universe in interesting ways. The cinematography alone rivals anything I've seen mainstream in ages.

2. Avengers Endgame - Incredibly satisfying way to wrap up the past decade of the MCU with lots of emotionally resonant and crowd pleasing moments. It's far from a perfect film, but it delivers some absolutely stunning heights when it needs to and tries to give every character some good screentime in such a massive cast.

3. Far From Home - Recency bias aside, great film as I said above.

4. Captain Marvel - I think I've already explained my opinion of the film in enough detail earlier. But a solid and well done film.

5. Godzilla King of the Monsters - Godzilla, King Ghidorah, Mothra, and Rodan are all ****ing amazing to see on the big screen and endlessly entertaining. The movie's pretty much objectively terrible when working with everything human related, but the monsters make it a super enjoyable, if popcorn-y movie.

J.K. Simmon's role as J. Jonah is a national treasure and you can't change my mind.
Also, what the heck happened to this formatting, I think I accidentaly triggered a glitch.

I honestly don't mind the idea of Mysterio being a good guy for Far From Home.

Maybe the character gets a change of heart in future movies, so It will be interesting to see how they work with a good version of him for a while.

I just hope that he shows to be the master of illusions on an amazing visual way.

Speaking of MCU movies, I made an updated tier list for my ranking of the MCU films. Movies within each tier ARE in order...
1562536587686.png
S- One of my favorite films on the grand scale
A- Favorite MCU films (restricted to MCU)
B- Pretty good
C- Good but flaws are glaring to me
D- Average; don't remember much from them
E- Disappointment
F- Trash/Hatred

>no ones favorite MCU character is daredevil

I'm on Daredevil season 1 right now so he might become a favorite soon enough. I do LOVE the show so far and will continue it tonight, as long as a curveball isn't thrown my way.
