In any case, how hot is there in Texas? Anything close to 40°C daily in summers?

I don't know really, I live in Minnesota, and that was actually the first time in eight years I went there for part of the summer. I heard that they're handling with a drought or something, but considering how they're halfway across the country, I don't even have a clue

But it still looks like a lackluster Smurfs rip-off, using the awful personalities of the modern characters.


He ran out of ideas 11 years ago. He wanted his series to rest in peace.
It seems obvious that the movie was intended to be the finale. The movie even ends on a finale-like note.
But Nickelodeon just continues the series pretending the movie didn't happen, and that the Krusty Krab 2 doesn't exist, screwing over the continuity the movie made that was meant to be a finale.


Spongebob means a lot to me. It's a symbol of my childhood, when everything and everyone was happy, and there was not a worry in the world. Whenever I go back and watch something like Pizza Delivery or Band Geeks, it makes me happy. It makes me just sit there and smile. And unless I'm being told a joke and laugh as a natural response, I never smile anymore. It makes me want to be a kid again.

Modern Spongebob is a symbol of my progression into reality and adulthood. It's showing me that not everything is happy. It's showing me that there are awful people that are want to take advantage of children's giddy nature and tendency to laugh at anything, and make a profit from it, rather than actually work hard on something. It makes me not want to grow up. I don't want the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge. I want to be blissfully ignorant on the world.

But now I'm sitting here, everyone screaming at me to grow up.
But whenever I look back at the Spongebob Movie, it tells me I don't need to be an adult, and that kids can do great things to. Not physically kids, I mean mentally kids. Someone who's always happy and goofs around.


I don't know. The show just holds great meaning to me, and I get really pissed off whenever a new episode comes on.

More like over 100. I had to go there for the summer and I told my parents " Dont ever ****ing send me to texas again, damn it" I think when I went it was close to 200 I think. All to visit some ****ty family members

It's like -24°C here. Had to take out the garbage and dress full-on parka, winter boots, mittens, ect. Of course, it gets warmer in the afternoon, though winters are usually cold and dry here.

I can't really stand the cold, though I love snow. So, I guess I have a love-hate relationship with winter. =P

I feel your pain, brother. Nowadays, we see things that are more disturbing than funny like Mrs. Puff wanting to kill Spongebob at a crash derby in one episode or suicide jokes with Squidward's lack of happiness in another. Do not get me started on terrible episodes like "The Splinter" or "A Pal for Gary", for which I don't recall Spongebob being a poor man's Ren & Stimpy. Spongebob these days remind me of Modern Simpsons: Inferior compared to the good old days and lacking what made it good to begin with.

I used to be neutral when it came to Modern Spongebob, until subscribing to MysteriousMr.Enter's videos had opened my eyes to how ****ty the quality had gotten over the years. This is one of those situations where the series need to be cancelled or else it will be a "Franchise Zombie" like what happened with the Land Before Time. The first movie was a masterpiece that I will always love due to Don Bluth's genius, but the many Lighter and Softer sequels made me realize how terrible the franchise had gotten. You'll never get the same amount of emotion and thrill that you had from the original in all these watered down Land Before Time direct-to-video films.

Now that you mentioned Simpsons, I would agree on the fact that old episodes were good, but honesty, everything has an end, and I don't know when will that end come to said TV show. It's like the same scenario with SpongeBob: the network wants to keep their best known program on air for more ratings and cash. Maybe this happens when the creator has no input or quits the show I think.

I'm using the original model. Bought the adapter only, already have 4 GC controllers.
