Saw this a while back. Anyone keeping up with the Mega Man comics? This scene seems more like something Mega Man X or MMX rather than the classic series.

Can't remember the issue number, but you should start the story arc pre-genesis wave, then go and read the post genesis wave stuff.

Well, this scene is supposed to be from Mega Man 3 story, but again, that's only the comics. The "almost killing Dr. Wily" is from Mega Man 7, and actually was a scene near the the end of the game.

But Mega Man hesitates since, well, can't have your kid-friendly child hero murder an old dude, even if he's psycho. Than Vegeta I mean Bass says Mega Man should have taken the shot, since he's a ****.

There's only one Mega Man comic that I know of, from Archie Comics. That's one of the newer issues I think.

Well, Defeating the Improved Elite Four in OR felt really good and epic; Megas clashing, Overkills, Epic Clutches (My Manectric survived with 1 HP after an EQ from Steven's Aggron and my Ninetales ate a lot of Dragon Pulses)
My battles are over for the moment, now its time to complete the Dex, starting with Kanto

Mega Man X's story takes place about 100 years after the original series. Both Mega Man X and Mega Man were made by Dr. Light.

I'm not too sure how much the comic gave away. But I know Capcom never wanted to reveal too much about the fate of the original Mega Man. Since it's one of those things that'd work better if it was ambiguous. The only thing Keiji Inafune de-bunked was that Zero killed most the original cast.
