I have an interest in Japanese culture, no doubt about it, but I'm not delusional to the point of wishing I was Japanese and wanting to go to Japan because it's anime-land or something like that (hint: it's not).

I take pride in my Portuguese nationality and like my country and something I wish in my life is to stay and work here even though there's a high possibility I must leave due to economic recession, however, that doesn't mean I can't take interest in and respect what foreigners do. Don't lump me with ****ing nationalists that think they're superior to others just because they live in a different set of borders.

I've visited more than a dozen different countries in my entire life and always took an interest in the world outside of my country's borders since I was a kid.

Yes, I have an anime avatar and yes, I'm learning Japanese, so ****ing what? It's merely out of curiosity and an interest I have, but it's far from being the only thing in my mind. I have this avatar because I liked the anime where it's from. Simple as that.

Seriously, don't lump me together with the obsessive otakus. It's really insulting, because I don't want to be compared with people that disturb the crap out of me.

I merely watch anime, read manga and I'm learning Japanese, which is the FOURTH foreign language I'm learning, after English, Spanish and French; and I might be learning more languages beyond those because I like learning languages. This interest combined with the fact I like anime and manga compels me to learn Japanese.

As for why I'm learning Japanese: I do it for the challenge of learning. It's different from European languages and follows a different logic than them, something that forces my brain to think differently and I rather enjoy that premise.

Of course, I should clarify that, by insane otakus, I mean those crazy anime fans who are unhealthily obsessed with Japan, are into the waifu **** with their pillows and whatnot, and all sort of weird stuff I really don't want to get into. Because it's really ****ing disturbing and something I'm definitely not looking for. I draw a line when it comes to my interest in anime and manga.

As a matter of fact, the only sort of anime I really enjoy is stuff with compelling storylines that obsessive otakus likely won't get because what they likely care more about is ****ing shipping this or that character or watching this or that character being badass, likely completely missing the point of a storyline as a result.

I enjoy anime and manga as an art form and entertainment. Something to pass the time, if and whenever I have it.

Sorry for the rant, but if there's something I want to avoid, it's a misunderstanding. If I'm not being clear enough, I will write as many long posts as necessary to get my point across.

Plus, all of this because of a ****ing joke. Way to go.

Yeah, I dislike it when people generalize others who have an interest in Japan as being obsessed. I enjoy learning about Japan now because I've lived there for a couple years, and watching anime or J-vloggers makes me miss it. There's a lot more to Japan than just anime, and I hope people realize that.

Some people are already claiming that Zelda Wii U will get the Twilight Princess treatment and be released on the NX as well...

I really don't think that will happen.

Iwata only announced the console to shut up possible rumors about Nintendo abandoning the hardware production when they announced their intention to enter the mobile market and the NX was still early in development.

Plus, it's likely that the NX will have a different architecture from the Wii U, which means porting isn't an easy task.

Also the fact that the game is made with the gamepad in mind might make the porting process tricky as well (though it depends how involved its going to be). Theres also a possibility that NX wont even be a home console, and instead a portable of some sort (especially following the news of mobile games), since we lack details other than it being a game platform. I honestly hope Zelda WiiU will be a WiiU only game and NX will get its own thing later.

It was a few summers ago when I first got Tri, it was one of the greatest games I'd ever gotten. Invested so much time into it and I regret none of it. I was very sad when Tri's servers were shut down, its online was phenomenal.

I absolutely love Ceadeus' theme in the first half when you're chasing him through the underwater canyon, it is so good. I listen to it almost every day while I walk to classes.

I dunno, I always had a fun time fighting Deviljho. To be fair, I would usually cringe at the thought of fighting Barioth because of how much time he spends in the air and boosting all over the place. I never used a bowgun so I was constantly having to strategize when/where to hit him lel

Sometimes I wish I got into that franchise more than Brawl considering how evil and mean a specific community (not this one) was to me, but then I wouldn't be into this little fellow as much...

I don't do well with water levels in most games, I'd be scared. D: I surely missed a lot with other games.

I main Dual Blades, so trying to get close to him without archdemon jump attack... yea, and even then it can fail as I get knocked outta the air. D: And then struggling out of its pin is one of the hardest things to do.
For the "flying around" part, that's also why I have problems with the Rathalos line, and Flash Bombs can only do so much.
