Is it me or is Porky's/Pokey's fate absolutely terrifying?
Seeing how he was rendered immortal due to his excessive use of time travel and that NOTHING can hurt him inside the capsule, not even himself, it means he will be forever, and, literally, FOREVER, stuck inside that cramped ball of metal. Granted, he seems pretty happy about it, but still... *shudders*

The whole story of Porkey is some form of Nihilism, or the the belief that nothing matters. Porkey doesn't care about anything but himself, and his safety is an empty one. Life isn't worth living alone and he took the last bit of value out of his life when he went inside. He's more than dead. His existence is nullified.

I really don't like most discussions of Mother 3, funny, since it's like my favorite game.
i think it's because back in the day I'd be lurking around Starmen.net and see arguments like (spoilers)

I still love Mother 3 to death, but discussions about the ending really aren't my cup of tea.
