I kind of wish modern consoles had expansion paks. I get that it divides the install base, but it does so less than a new system (ahem... GBC, DSi, New 3DS) because it's not a generational leap, but something that couldn't necessarily be done at console launch. This generation, the CPU's are a real problem, but back in the N64 era Nintendo went with 4 MB of RAM which was more than any console manufacturer had ever put in a system. They wanted to put even more (would have been needed for the 64DD) but were forced to sell it later when it got a bit cheaper, though the expansion pak which doubled the amount to 8 MB isn't technically as fast as the on-board RAM.

But again, RAM isn't the main limiting factor anymore.

N64 also had an accessory called the "WideBoy 64"

Wasn't for consumers though.

So, after this freaking hilarious simulator in which I became a murderer while I was searching computer stuff and made Paper Mario characters do the same, I actually haven't told what I think could be my new computer.

So far, the cpu would be intel core i5 4690. I heard it really is the best cpu for emulation because of its single thread speed. Not only that, but dolphin only takes 2 cores leaving the other 2 for better multitasking (I think minecraft + dolphin is now possible). Also, the integrated graphics is just enough for my needs.

I took a motherboard according to that cpu and took a dual chqannel kit of ddr3 memory of 8GB. I think I'm going to be good for a while.

Total with taxes and shipping is so far 472$. Consider that a tower with all these stuff is like 600-650$....yeah, and I don't need to buy more storage device and a power supply.

Buying computer hardware is complicated....nothing fits with everything and you just have to do lots of research.

Just to be clear, still deciding, but love that option so far.

AA Trilogy and Dual Destinies are both at very reasonable prices there. £30ish for 4 amazing games- definitely recommend.

The Furry dude likes Sailor Moon, mostly because it's like power rangers but far better in developing it's characters villains, side characters and heroes.

I have not watched Sailor Moon in who knows how long and I think you two just convinced me to start watching again. Might as well go from the start to remember how the story goes.
