Oh man that Direct. They showed us the more boring human battling, tons of differences which make it seem way better than the Wii game, but just not enough to get excited about. There was loads more amazing music, the armour and weapon variety looks amazing, and did I really play through an 100 Open-World JRPG with a max of 7 characters before? Because I'm sure I counted at least 12 that they showed there, and promised more as well. Wow. But by far the best part was the ending where 3-4 giant machines attacked the party that would put even Yaldabaoth to shame, only for it to end with a "how can we fight these things? Oh yeah by using our giant machines, here's a look at one and we'll see you next time when we talk about them for 30 minutes!". Bring on the next one, I say. Very impressed.

So, I just read that Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft will be cooperating to reinforce their Internet services and fight against DDoS's.

Fanboys could learn a thing or two from this.

Well, you can't compare Mario Kart to Smash in terms of DLC. A character needs months to be implanted in the game, Mario Kart 8 doesn't really need a lot of work. And the only hard work for Mario Kart 8 is to add new tracks, but even them, it's not difficult. I can see what the guy who made this leak thought, and there's at least some logic.

But it's a leak anyway. We can't believe them until it's true.

Objection!
His comparison to Mario Kart and Smash DLC is because the Leaker (eww) themselves mentioned how Smash will be getting a DLC pack much like Mario Kart 8's!!! His confusion is perfectly valid!

Well, at least this leak will be debunked or confirmed within less than a week's time. If we get an announcement for a direct of the 11th, we're in business.

And not only that, we'd have a lot to discuss regarding speculation for future characters and stages. It may take a while, but confirming future DLC is better than not having DLC at all.

Nintendo Direct - 3/11/15 (Info mainly for US Direct, EU-only info at end)

Main character is Elephant called Flopster and he's on a quest to save his home from being oversaturated by a horde of Lions. Think Banjo-Kazooie but without Kazooie and in a 2D perspective. eShop title being released on 3DS and Wii U (Cross-buy like Mario vs Donkey Kong), being released Summer.
>Yoshi's Woolly World info. Story is virtually the same as Epic Yarn with the world being turned into Yarn and junk. Yoshi amiibo unlocks a special world that remakes the first world's levels of the original Yoshi's Island. Game is being released in June, Yoshi amiibo bundle will also be available.
>Wave 5 of Smash Amiibo announced. Dark Pit, Palutena, Bowser Jr, Zero Suit Samus, Greninja and Olimar headline. Release is June 12th.
>Web based eShop being launched on April 9th. Ties into the new Club Ninty replacement in some way.

>Mewtwo DLC shown off, $2.49 if buying off eShop with release of April 9th. Announcement that Smash is getting full-blown DLC like MK8, but since it's not far into development, preorders/screenshots will come Q4 as first pack is scheduled to be ready sometime around March 2016.
