I don't know about that, my little brother did have a "crush" on Birdie from the Ronald McDonald show and any other McDonald's media. I guess he was into ladies that have the biggest cleavage plumage possible unlike the average kid back in the day.

Look, I cleared the maze when Kotate was in it so I couldn't get the potion. So I used the Song of Time to start over. Then I did the maze again not knowing I was supposed to talk to the tour guy again. Then I did it again but I didn't know I was supposed to be human and couldn't speak to her for some reason so I did the maze more and more to the point where I had to pull up a LP only to be shown how stupid I was.:lol:

It wasn't difficult at all. I just did it multiple times to the point where it grew tiresome to me.

Anyway, yeah,I'm in Deku Palace and the monkey was there. I thought that the monkey would appear after I healed Koume but I was looking at the original version

Um...
You can still get the potion from Kotake even if she's in the forest.
It doesn't matter whether she's in the shop or the forest, as long as you've talked to Koume first, she'll give it to you.

Yeah, that's one of the changes they made.
You can't always trust an LP of the original, because there have actually been several other major changes to the game.
