that much?Good Morning Smashboards! How are you guys doing today?
Look, I'm fine with pretty much any ending(AS LONG AS IT DOESN'T SUCK), bad or good. Having a sappy ending isn't so bad every once in a while.
Yes, I liked it even though it was sappy, nothing wrong with that.
"I could say the same about every mario game with bowser."
Say what the same?
That really doesn't make sense with anything that I said in that post.
And SPM technically does have a "bad" ending.
Well, not bad endings, but non-standard game-overs.
I think there are 4 of them.
One in the prologue, one in the 4th chapter, one in the interlude between chapters 6 & 7, and one in Chapter 8.
I knew about the prologue (that one was so silly), but these aren't what I call ending, just a reccurent joke.
That's like "Do you want to obviously do aomething that is mandatory to beat the game?".
Normally, play pokemon and they will simply loop the question until you select "yes".
So, when in a pokemon game they ask before handling you the dex: "Will you try to do more research about the Pokemon?" or something like that, you cannot choose no. If you do, they will assume you were kidding and ask you the question again....until you selected yes.
Paper Mario is a kind of parody of this. The question is obviously really easy to get like they establish that Paper Mario is the only one that can stop BLECK so they say "Will you save the world?" or soemthing like that, like, honestly, if you choose "no", you HAVE to want to just test the game reaction.
This is actually the first time I saw these jokes and they are funny. Because the best part is that they represent the truth, you don't want to save the world so why the heck are you playing?
idk, that's silly, but it's not ending.
Which leads me to think....what do you think about multiple ending in the series?
I believe if there was, one is the "good/normal" one and others would be easter egg showing silly stuff
Would you like that?
