I miss beta Rayman. Clearly a much better face than the one in the release build.Well, at the end of the day, the leaks will still call for this picture I made a while back.

Unfortunaly for you, the facts and evidences for this leak to be true are too much to be a simple coincidence. This truth is too hard to swallow for some, but it seems that this leak is official.

With the recent leak, it's got me thinking with the shop icon of something I thought of several months ago. I was thinking of DLC in Smash and I thought if there would be any it might be handled similarly to Mario Kart/Hyrule Warriors with two/three different packs, and I wouldn't mind that if they did that. But I wonder as it's only one new character that has been leaked whether or not they might look at a more long term way, having one character (veteran or newcommer) added every other month, until the roster maxes out at around 60 or so. Throw in new/retuning stages and they could make it so that they could still be adding stuff this time next year. I don't want them to go OTT, but I think that could work. What would you guys want?

Aw piss. I just realized that even though I'm getting Mewtwo for free, I'm gonna have to pay for Rayman. Possibly twice.

I hope so. I wouldn't mind paying for him, but if you don't get codes for both consoles when you buy him once, that's just annoying.

It might be 2 for one deal of something like that, or a MK8 DLC pack. I've even heard rumours of getting it for free if you buy the Amiibo, though I don't see how that will work. It shouldn't be too expensive I'd imagine, however they do it.

If you got him for free with a purchase of the amiibo, they'd obviously put the codes in the package with the figure. I don't want a Rayman amiibo though. (Mainly because then I'd want to get Mega Man, Pac-man and Sonic.)

Sure, but the prospect of possibly having to pay for it twice isn't good. Unless he's $2.50 or something. Then he'd be the same price as the Mortal Kombat DLC characters if you had to buy him twice.

I've not gotten the Rosalina one (yet), but I'm not too bothered by the stands. They're not great, but necessary when producing figures in these poses in large(ish) quantities. Link's is obviously the worse, but on Donkey Kong, I sometimes don't even notice it.

I have no idea what made them think changing clear to yellow from the prototype to the final Link amiibo was a good idea. At least Shulk isn't some really stupid color.

You know, this leak opened a very big door again : the possibilty of other DLCs in the future.
As we can see, Rayman was technically announced by his trophy. Mewtwo also got his own trophy in the game, but still is a DLC. By the trophies, the leak opened a possibilty of actually having back some veterans.
Here's a probable list of them :

, , It's a personal list, but some of them do make sense. For Lucas and Wolf, the representation number, as well as the trophy of both of them give them the highest possibility of a comeback for them.
For the "Low" tier, Roy can't really enter due to being a simple clone of Marth. His place has already been taken by Lucina and ironically a Koopaling. Squirtle and Ivysaur could return thanks to their originality, but the representation of Pokemon is already enough. Same goes for Pichu, but even lower due to being a clone. Young Link has the same reason as Roy.
The "Inexistant" tier is obvious : Snake won't return for sure, and Pokemon Trainer and Ice Climbers won't return due to technical limitations by the 3DS.
In short : thanks to this leak, the DLC door is reopened, but only for some characters.
