You know that Raichu is doomed when they keep putting stuff to boost Pikachu's power and wide its movepool (Light Ball, Fly, Surf, and all of the Moves of Cosplay Pikas)

Mega Pikachu will have the same design as Raichu and Raichu will be removed from the game. Trading a Raichu to Gen VII will change it into a Pikachu holding a Pikachu Mega Stone. If the Raichu is holding an item, it cannot be traded.
