Something I've been wondering for a while now. Every time somebody brings up that Ganondorf's moveset should be changed, without fail, somebody always says that Sakurai won't do it because he doesn't want to "alienate" somebody. They always say that without conveniently posting a source for Sakurai's direct quote on that.

Did Sakurai really say that, or are people just making things up?

On Smashboards, sources aren't given with statements a lot of the time, but most statements should actually have those sources somewhere.

I don't think people are making it up, though. In my opinion, the quote 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' certainly applies with Ganondorf. And Wario, while we're at it.
