It's against forum policy as Teh Boozer King said, however the worst that could happen is a closed thread and maybe 1-2 infraction points if they feel really angry about something.

At least you get the attention of more people when making a single thread, whereas with making a single post in another thread, you get only the dedicated boarder/thread readers who see it.

Trust me, I wouldn't be here if the title didn't intrigue me.
